Welcome to Academy of Adventure.

AoA is located on a world called Molior, which was set upon by darkness in which the Goddess watching over it released her powers to all the living things so that they may defend themselves against it. The darkness started to seep into the planet and turned many against their loved ones. The world ended up splitting into two types of people, those who embraced Kae (magic users) and those who rejected it as evil and embraced machines (steampunk). The founders, Nyr, Gwendolyn and Ceruleann who were born of the Goddess created the academy to bring peace and balance to the torn planet, the war ravaged the surface thus forcing them to relocate the Academy high in the sky. Hence the name, Ad Astra. The Academy encourages learning about both Kae and Machinery.

This scene is set on the continent of Fenridis in the large, bustling town known as Drakesport located northeast of the capital Ferridan. A lively hub filled with many different cultures, filled with kings, cutthroats and entertainers.

This town is situated on the cliffs and directly over the Dragon's Teeth whirlpool.

Upon looking around you would note that the overall feel would reminiscent of an airship with docking towers. A bit further in you will find less pubs and a bit more sophistication a large ornate building filled with arches and stained glass. Here would be a branch of the Holy Order of Lewellyn.

Not too far from there, is where we find Mollie~

Cafe Melusine

Today, Mollie is patiently eating some delicious carrot cake while waiting for O-la la to arrive. Quietly watching people past each other outside of the decorative black fence, she notices a well groomed man that seems to be just a little bit different the those who hurriedly brush past him. He seemed to be watching her to...

Vaguely, in the back of her mind, he reminded her something Ola had said.

Hans

In Drakesport, it's not unusual to see different races mingle with the other common folk of Ferrdian, but some never fail to catch you off guard. And this little lady across the seat from his table was quite a surprise. A little rabbit in the city of wolves and dragons. My, my. Hans continued to stare, admiring her bright copper coils of hair, her liquid eyes and those unabashed velvet ears. She was certainly the most interesting thing here. Closing his book, he abandoned his coffee to venture closer to her. When he reached her table, he motioned to the empty seat across from her.
"Is this seat taken?"

Fork in mouth, Mollie considers the tall man. Taking her small cake fork, she points at one of the chairs.

"This one is taken." She pauses for a second and then directs it at the other chair, "but, this one isn't."

Hans

He takes the seat she pointed towards. Hans has a couple hours to kill til the next meeting, and then he could resume his search. Not a problem to waste it with a cute girl. He smiles charmingly, intent on starting conversation.

She reluctantly admits the man is quite handsome with his short dark brown hair, not quite her type though. His charming smile prompts Mollie to offer a piece of her cake. Poking her fork into a small piece, she holds it out to him. It had to be one of the reasons he had come to sit with her, for there couldn't be any other reason.

Hans

Taken back by the offering of the sweet, he quickly refuses.
"I'm sorry. I don't like sweets."
Hans never has and will never. The sugar just makes him sea sick.

Mollie is aghast. "You don't like sweets?"
Who in the world doesn't like sweets? Well, besides O-la, who is a complete exception.

"What kind of man doesn't like sweets?" she jokingly demands.

Hans

"A salty man! <3" He wriggles his eyebrows flirtatiously. It was true. He was a salty sea dog.

Mollie laughs thinking, how silly!
Still, she isn't sure how she should even respond to that.

Hans

He admired her bubbly laugh. It was like birdsong. What an interesting little girl.
"And what is a little bunny like you doing alone in the den of wolves that is Drakesport?"

Mollie grins at the mental image of everyone in Drakeport being a wolf.
With a airy wave of her hand she responds, "I'm waiting for -" she caught herself before she said O-la. Her friend insisted that very few people aside from those on Ad Astra knew her name, "my alchemist." Mollie finished smoothly.

Hans

Hans grinned, wolfishly. An Alchemist? Really?
"Why would you need to wait for one when there's perfectly good alchemist right in front of you?"
He would say the best in the world, but lets not be cocky. That won't do well for the Order's image.

Mollie's ears perk up in interest, her eyes lighting up with interest.

"Really? You're an alchemist?"

Hans

Hans was never good at humility.
"I'm the best in Ferrdian, my dear."
