Welcome to Academy of Adventure.

AoA is located on a world called Molior, which was set upon by darkness in which the Goddess watching over it released her powers to all the living things so that they may defend themselves against it. The darkness started to seep into the planet and turned many against their loved ones. The world ended up splitting into two types of people, those who embraced Kae (magic users) and those who rejected it as evil and embraced machines (steampunk). The founders, Nyr, Gwendolyn and Ceruleann who were born of the Goddess created the academy to bring peace and balance to the torn planet, the war ravaged the surface thus forcing them to relocate the Academy high in the sky. Hence the name, Ad Astra. The Academy encourages learning about both Kae and Machinery.

A Peculiar Meeting; Mollie meets a strange person in Drakesport, Fenridis.

Hans

Since she let loose of her own, Hans decided to share one of his. It would be terribly rude not to.
"Ad Astra is not well known, which I'm sure you know. As a high ranking officer in the Order, it's my place to know these things. And you my little bunny, how do you know of Ad Astra?"

Excited that she could freely discuss the academy, Mollie obliges him.

"I teach Aviation~" she said cheerfully.

Hans

Hans deadpanned.
"Aviation?"

With a mouth full of cake, Mollie nods with a "Mmm!" of affirmation.
Swallowing~
"Of course, all birds know aviation!"

Hans

"Oh, well that.... wait, what?"

It can't be that confusing~ Mollie giggled. What a strange man.

"Birds are just born to fly" she spreads her arms up and in an arc, imagining the vast expanse of the sky. "It's just the way it is."

Hans

She sounded just like.... her...
His mind went back to what seemed decades when she was still there.
Fish swim. That's what they do. I ask. I learn. That's what I do. So teach me!
Her voice and broken words rippled right through him. Hans didn't want to be reminded...so...
he laughed....
"You sound so much like her, it's uncanny..."
He wants to remember her...Every time he laughs, he hears her talking to him, asking all her questions.
For the first time, he wanted to talk about her.
and it was to a complete stranger...

A curious expression whispered across Mollie's face. He came off both sad and happy when he said it.

She wanted to know why, but not if it would make him sad.

"In a good way?"

Hans

Hans sighed softly. In a good way? Yes...maybe...?
"Depressingly so....."
"Hans. Look at the sky! The ocean is on fire!"
"No, it's not. That's the sun setting. It'll be night soon."
"The sun sets and turns to night? Ah..How sad..Bye sun."

Mollie poked at her rapidly dwindling carrot cake.
Pondering his words.
She couldn't quite understand...
"Why would that be sad?"
Wasn't remembering someone always a good thing?
Well, except when it comes to cruel peers...

Hans

The woman you remind me of..was my one and only...One day, she just..." He took a deep breath. Why did she go? What did he do wrong? "She just disappeared just out of the blue..and I haven't found her yet..." This was more depressing than he initially wanted, but he was going to find her, even if it meant draining the oceans.

Mollie's heart went out to him. For it was fairly obvious how much this person had meant to him.
She tapped the fork against her mouth, and then laid it down.

"Are you looking in the right places?"

Hans

Hans was rather perplexed. What if hadn't been looking in the right places? He searched the seas for her, but what if she wasn't in the seas? "Perhaps I haven't..."
Hans smiled regardless. He had not expected to make such a fast friend today. He grinned knowingly at his companion. "And what of you, my little bird? You seem to have an air of woman in love...Why don't you share a love story with me?"

Mollie sighed softly and looked up at the sky.

"There was someone who I fell for," and quite literally did, she recalled, "I went away for a long time, and then before I knew it, I couldn't quite find him again. Fortunately, I found him again when I became apart of Ad Astra."
She paused before adding~
"Unfortunately, for some reason, my sister really doesn't like him so much..."

Hans

"I'm feeling a little jealous here as well." Her sibling's dislike of the girl's love could be merely over protectiveness then spiteful jealous. Hans, however, was jealous. She could see her lover when she wanted to. He wanted that.
