Okay, basically, I'm sleepy, and tired, so I don't promise any good quality. XD BTW, I suck at making fanfics, so PLEASE don't hurt me. O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O The Land Down Under Trilogy: The Signs When the Dark comes rising, six shall turn it back. Three from the circle, three from the track. Wood, bronze, iron, water, fire, stone. Five will return, and one go alone. Iron for the birthday, Bronze carried long. Wood from the fire, Stone out of song. Fire from the home land, Water from the sand. Sparks will fly from the crimson lad. Prologue "Are you sure this is it?" "Of course this is it." "Won't it hurt?" "It'll feel like a pinch. You've felt pinches, haven't you?" "I know but---" "But?" "How can something so BIG fit into something so small?" "Force it in." "Ouch." "Oh, be quiet will you?" And with that said, it entered. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Ran's strained, ten year-old, far from deep voice echoed throughout the room, and Gray had to cover his ears to prevent them from getting harmed. "Ran, come on, it was just a needle," Gray said, groaning and removing his large hands from their position on his ears. "But it's a BIG needle. In my little finger. BIG and little DO NOT mix, Gray," Ran said, wrapping a band-aid around his little finger. "Stop complaining. You're birthday's coming up anyway," Gray stated in a mature voice, laughing slightly at how pissed Ran looked. "My birthday is on Midwinter's Day, Gray. Isn't it somehow weird, that I was born on that day, at Midnight? Rather than Midwinter's Eve? I'd prefer Midwinter's Eve very much," Ran said. Gray grinned at him, "Want your birthday to come sooner, huh?" He asked. Ran nodded. He and Gray were twins of the Azrea family. Gray had been born one day early, for Ran had been born during Midnight. And ever since, Ran had been complaining of his birthday being on Midwinter's Day, rather than the day his twin was born. "So, what do you plan on doing today, since it IS your birthday, Gray," Ran inquired, staring intently at his brother, from his very comfortable chair, compared to Gray's lowly stool. Gray huffed. "I'm going to help Mother on the farm. The usual. Pick up the hay from Mr. Fields. Easy," He said proudly, as though a big medal was boasting with pride, pinned on his shirt. Ran laughed. "Dummy. You can't even carry a sack without my help," He said, looking at Gray, as though he were completely clueless about his limits and weaknesses. Gray smirked. "Another way I could prove I'm better than you is to get all the hay myself," He said proudly. Ran flushed red with anger. "Oh, yeah?!" He shouted, standing up and looking at Gray madly. The other nodded, smirking. Ran crossed his arms across his chest. "A deal then. The one who gets to Mr. Field's farm first and back here with a bale of hay, will get to have the loser as a slave for a day," He said. Gray nodded and Ran held out his hand, for his sibling to shake. Gray did so and they both walked out the living room door. O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O~O Author's Notes Lawl. I'm just starting a fanfiction and ALREADY it stinks. Only 300+ words, I think. XD Please excuse my... Amateur-ness. It's alright. Not the best I've seen but it's good for an amateur. what was the point of the needle though? you started out with it but i don't think i've ever seen a needle go into someone's finger? I don't know i'm just curious. Created by Ryuk, recovered by ~*KE*~ |
