Finally, we've got snow in a month when we're MEANT to get snow. Mother Nature, there shouldn't be snow in March, August or September in the Northern Hemisphere.

Anyway, this snow came just in time for the local council to announce that we're gonna have a grit shortage again this year. -_-

Plus, it looks like I've got a stomach bug. Not related, but I thought I'll share that. :P

There was some of it up in Philly, which is only about an hour from where I live. And during the Thanksgiving Day parade too! Only problem is, I really don't like snow. I hope we don't have a lot of here on the east cost this year, because we had a blizzard last year, and that wasn't pretty... :/

oh no, poor AntiMew! you really have a stomach bug? my big brother Yellow Mew has stomach trouble all the time. i'm sure he knows how you feel. i hope you get well soon.

i've already had snow where i live. i love snow, but it's piled up on the satellite dish and i have to go out and scrape the stuff off at eight at night 'cause my mom is too lazy to go out. the snow keeps messing with the satellite and the tv goes out. satellite dishes stink, but snow is still beautiful.

I've only been in deep snow twice when I was a little kid. The electricity went out during the first snow I was in and I froze my butt off. It was horrible!

Where I live now I get nothing but rain and fog, freezing cold and frost, and occasionally hail and thunderstorms.

Sometimes I can see snow on the distant hills and mountaintops around me. There was snow on the mountaintops just a couple days ago, but right now, I'm socked in with fog up to my front doorstep. I can just barely see the waning moon through the fog behind a bare naked oak tree in my front yard.

Recently, there have been unusual cold spells where I live. It's been down to 32°, and I have to run water all night in my bathroom to keep the pipes from freezing and blowing up. Normally it isn't this cold until December and January, so I'd hate to know how cold it'll be by then!

I also have to go out and cover my plants to protect them from frost. My poor little baby herbs, and my poor orange tree.

3 inches this morning. Being in the cold isn't too bad, because I either go numb or warm up from the cycling. The ice isn't too bad either as I usually keep my balance and have lots of padding in my coat anyway.

It's the going inside afterwards and getting the feeling back in your hands that's the bad bit. I've completely forgotten how very painful it is.

-7 degrees Celcius baby! Though it warmed up to -1 by the time I had to leave. Thawed out before I had to go home, so no snow on the roads then.

I'd freeze to death and die if I had to live in weather that cold, AntiMew. I just hate the cold!

It just started to snow outside! Yet it won't freeze on the ground because it isn't too cold yet. But it's a sign we're going to get some heavy snow! 8-D

I really don't like the cold or snow. Cold air makes my throat sore and makes my nose run...

Where I grew up it snowed every winter. I hated the snow but my little sister just went nuts over it. My mother never let me go out in the cold because she knew I'd get sick if I set one foot outside in it. So all the other kids could go out and play while I had to sit inside looking stupid with nothing to do.

There are bigger flakes falling down plus my feet are freezing so I made a hot chocolate that's delicious :) :) :)

Well, the -7 is pretty unusual around these parts (which is why I remembered it) and it was early in the morning. Usually, it's -3 to +5 Celsius in the winter.

I think so. I'm in Norfolk.

And blame JoAnne for your hot chocolate. :P

*checks map* That's a good 20 miles or so from my place to your place. Perhaps we can meet up some day...

Why blame JoAnne for my hot chocolate? I just made my second one :P

JoAnne likes hot chocolate. :P

20 miles? Norfolk is much larger than that and you don't know where I am in it. :P

Hehe, lol for JoAnne

Really? I was only estimating. It's still going to take me a few hours for me to get me up there. I highly doubt you'll tell me whereabouts you are. You can visit Spencer's profile for the double to see where we live. (stupid Spencer giving out where we live. Kelvin can easily fly over here and kick our butts, all though it's highly unlikely)

If I lived closer to you two, we could get together and have hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. But I live way far out in California.

Oh hey, maybe I could meet up with JoAnne instead! I could just imagine what that would be like-cookies, waffles, hot chocolate, and Sonic's head stuffed and hung on a wall. lol
