Just wanting to know what you'd most likely play if it were available from Corner of the Attic? If you need to add more, then do so. in a reply. We're trying to get an idea of what people want to play and would buy. Pick the one answer that would best suit you. |

yeah 40k is the best as it is simple and going off like a frog in socks atm, its easy to do and offers lots of varients with the games....fantasy is a bit old (pardon the pun) as it is always a pitched battle and things tend to be the same ish in each game, not only that but not too many ppl play it..... |

why don't you try a bit of magic cuz im not a magician... but if u are referin to the card game... i would prefer not to cuz i dont like the thought of buying things u dont know whats in the pack so u end up spending way too much on it.. and u cant customise them and paint them like you do the models... im sorry magic is no match for warhammer |

40k is definitely the flavour of the month. At the moment people are probably spending a lot of time with their nose in a book because the 5th edition rules are still fairly new and and there have been so many changes in the SM codex. |

LOL apart from the shuffling and drawing a card each turn, it's no-where near as random as 40k - each decision requires more thought. only buying packs is stupid, hence why you buy singles most of the time - rather than playing 'lottery and buying booster packs non stop'. i buy packs from paul to support the shop, and for the simple fact that, i like to open packs/draft with them. |

Matt from Archipelago hobby store was telling me to get sanctioned events up and running in the store. Apparently back in the day he was quite high up in magic from what he was saying. If he's lurking on here still he'll tell you more. |

yeah i thought about that - maybe a weekly/fortnightly draft - so people can see what magic is all about. people need to know its nothing like yugioh or pokemon lol |

this 'magic' sounds alright but idk about the cost thing... how much would is it 4 the cards? and is it pretty simple 2 pick up or is there a bit 2 get ur head around? |

it's as expensive as you make it. that being said, its cheaper than 40k. you could probably make a decent 40 card deck out of 5 boosters... the basics are pretty easy to pick up |

yeah there is word going round that a few nights here and there will be designated to a few of the different games .... RPG, Magic etc... wonder how it will go, new stuff is always scarier and ppl tend to stick to what they know. |

I wouldn't call it new... It doesn't seem too hard to play, but that was watching the how to play vids and from seeing games in here they don't tend to take too long. |
