Just a quick question about who would be interested in playing it if it was available? There's a rule book here and there's a couple of us with some tanks and troops. We're looking at getting these items in more quantities and supporting the system. So for those of you out there who may have an interest in WWII and playing a game that involves that era, come in and have a look at some of the models and the rule book. Hopefully we can get a game of some sort happening at some point also. |

I would probably collect a Tobruk based force once I see the rules. I might be in later today for a quick look at the book, if not I'll be in tomorrow and have a peek then |

i have already expressed my interest in this game,but yeah i'd be interested (probly get a british force).paul and i had a discussion about the pros and cons of getting this game instore.so all i can say is if you are even vaguely interseted in this game,get urself a couple of blisters off paul (thats enuff for at least a skirmish).and if you don't like the gameplay after a couple of games,sell them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but i was reading up on the official fow site (blasphemy on my behalf, i know!!!!!!) and the rules seem pretty self explanatory.i for one will give it a go,so count me in paul.just waiting for a mate to get back to me (remembred he had some fow minis laying around his shed gathering dust) |

I've got a Brit platoon and just ordered in a company command, an aussie platoon and some 6pdr anti-tank guns for an Aussie 9th division Tobruk army. I've got plans to add 25 pdr artillery, Indian troops, a few tanks, more aussies and some 6 and 2pdr portees, after all the 9th invented them at Tobruk. Yes, I'm obsessed with Tobruk. The story is the one that stands with Gallipoli, Fromelle and Kokoda as the shining moments of the AIF to me. Edited by Storm Templar, Nov 30 2008, 01:05 AM.

I would be interested if it was possible to field an entirely Australian army, so can I do that or do I have to have a British Army with Aussie platoons? |

To field an Australian/NZ/ANZAC Divisional Cavalry army you need the Afrika rulebook, where it details the special rules for the various commonwealth forces that fought in North Africa. The only pure Aussie force so far is the Australian Rifle Company, with some of the best infantry in the game. Fearless Veteran Disorderly troops FTW! I'm doing a force based around the 9th Division AIF, with Brit supporting units, from the Tobruk Siege. The 'Rats of Tobruk'. All Hail Ming the Merciless!! Greatest Rat that ever lived! thanks for the game (tank skirmish) the other day.i enjoyed it after all was said and done (had to go through the rules while playing.can't wait for more ppl to show interest in it.anybody up for a skirmish with me sometime next week??? |

come on guys.where has that enthusiasm gone to???i have the new rulebook,and next week i will be giving one to paul as a store copy.all i want is a little bit of feedback.just so i know i am not clutching at straws (or whether to even the get the another rule book for the store).to the gentleman (believe it was chris) who was running the anzac army,if you are interested i have half a blister of anzacs that i have left with paul.$5 and there yours!!!!! |

lol I'm waiting for either my stuff to come in when the other bloke (not Paul, the other other bloke) gets off his rear and orders stuff in, or Paul finally bites the bullet and orders stuff in himself. Although I do have a few things, maybe I can throw together a small force. I'll pick up those ANZAC's next time I'm in, and see what I can put together. I have a HMG platoon, some jeeps, one rifle platoon and with the SAS patrol I picked up and those ANZAC troops might be able to put together a command and another minimal Rifle Platoon. Still need the book though! |

like i said in my entry last night,i will probly get another starter pack and give the mini rulebook and the scenario book to paul as a store copy (what can i say,i'm a nice guy :D, truth be told though i just want the tanks and dice lol)oh and by the way paul when my german army arrives if you so wish you can loan them for a battle or two.i wouldn't be holding my breath on those orders coming in chris.i've been waiting on mine since before xmas last year (not blaming you paul).
