Jon, you didn't have the a4 sheet that had all the tank info on it when we played... Silly boy :P. I'm going to find out what's what with the flames this week, there's someone else I know that was wanting to know if I wanted stuff, if not, if you've got $3500 you can kick in and get the ball rolling with stock for the store

i apologise i offended you paul (yes it was ur book we used for the stats,and it was much appreciated).it wasn't meant to sound like that.if i had that kind of (or even a quarter of it) money i wouldn't at least try and get something happening.i believe this game has a great potential for those ppl that want the period based games (don't jump down my throat here...ok?,don't get me wrong i like 40k but its just to expensive for me at the moment) and are on a bit of a budget!!!!!. it doesn't cost much to get the army of your choice up and running.take me for example i have 2 armies (british and german) and i haven't spent even a quarter of what i have spent on gw products over the years.sorry about the rant and rave.but thats where i stand on this matter (don't worry paul the new rulebook and scenario book is yours if you still want it that is........... )

I think you've misunderstood me. The starter set you got should have had a sheet in it that gave you the stats of the tanks and their weapons. Was talking to another shop owner friday who said that it came with a guide to the tanks used so you could play, something we didn't have and had to rely on the old book. Of course it's cheap to get into, you got them off ebay :P. You're right it is relatively cheap to get into, spend $30 and you've got the start of a force to play with. |

just wanted to say thank you to paul for being one of the most patient ppl i have met,i had a little bit of an idea of what i was doing in the battle today.and even when i was rifling through the pages of the rulebook he waited......................and thanks for the battle today..................damn germans!!!!!!!!!!!(more to point damn tiger!!!!!!!!!!!!!)really enjoying it |
