This game has so far managed to scare the crap out of me and I've only sat down and played it twice. The only disappointment I've had so far is that the siren that heralds the world changing into the rusted horrible world sounds different, and doesn't have the same chill factor the original one had. That's the only whinge I've got so far. It's easy to get lost within some of the areas. I found myself running around town having forgotten there was a doorway I hadn't gone through in my own backyard, and most things require investigation in case you stumble across something, but when something pops out at you, OMG. At one point a body fell through the roof and I felt cold for 5 minutes after the event and it took me half that time to walk towards it incase it tried to grab me. If a game is going to kill someone, this game is it. It reminds me greatly of the original Resident Evil, especially when finding items. For some reason you collect photos and children's drawings. Some of the characters I've met so far are strange to say the least. One is the local judge, who's daughter your character grew up with. She's working away as if there's nothing wrong with an eternal fog, freaky creatures which pop out at you and other than that, not a living soul to be seen. She is cagey though when asked about the missing people, and it seems she's caught in a time loop of sorts. I've still not made it to Silent hill, I'm in a nearby town, so things are bound to get worse before they get better, if they ever get better around Silent hill. Just to freak you out a bit more, did you know Silent hill is based on a real American town? (where else?) Google it to find out more

I saw an add for the new 120 gig one today, still not sure about it, though it's set up for wireless. Much like the slimline ps2 which had a network capabilities built in. |

Yes, that's a point. I got a form the other day to be refunded the difference between the old and new price. Would have been good if I had any, lol. |
