The latest planetstrike teaser, which will go up shortly has a leman russ turret sprue that's available in august. So I wouldn't be surprised if they appear around then as well. The weapons sprue is intended for a weapon system for a building in planetstrike. |

Speaking of the Imperial Armor series.... ive been reading them and i just gotta drool. The Tau actually would be quite competative with inclusions. As for my sisters.... I definatly want a Repressor Tank! (Storm Bolter, Heavy Flamer, 6 Bolter Firepoints and an extra firepoint for special or heavy weapons- that can be used without counting as open topped!- Rhino Armor and transport capacity for only 70pts) I think I found my dedicated Transport of Choice! |

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised to see more Imperial Armour stuff start appearing in Codexs. A few off the top of my head from a few Codexs are Tau Piranha and Skyray vehicles and some of their vehicle/troop upgrades, Several Leman Russ variants, Valkyrie/Vendetta gunships, Redeemer-pattern Land Raider and the Assault Cannon Razorback, the Ironclad Dreadnought (remade Siege Dread rules), and the Hellhound variants. As more Forgeworld options become released as mainstream kits you'll likely see more and more of them in Codexs. I'm praying for a plastic Prometheus Land Raider  4 Twin-linked Heavy Bolters, re-roll reserves Armour 14 bastion of doom!

I like how the IA rules are designed to work in normal games of 40k. Particularly Fliers. According to IA, i can take a Valkyrie as a Transport option for my inquisitor, but i would have too pay more points for the IA version, and use it with the IA flyer's rules, which are still very interesting. The IA flyers rules are different to Apocalypse flyer rules, though there are simularities. In general the fliers cost more points (a Valkyrie is 140 base with the Heavy Bolters already attached- +50pts for Rocket Pods) They way these rules work help to limit how often you can use thier power- normally only 2 to 3 turns a game depending on how you roll, as they always start in reserve, and only come back for another attack run on a subsequent 2+ roll. btw have you seen the Punisher Cannon armed Vulture.... imagine those 40 Str5 shots strafing you every other turn!
