Downloaded the demo for it last night. You get half an hour to muck around with it, before you buy the unlock for it, which I ended up doing. A nice game, but bloody hell, I couldn't hit the side of a barn. Not sure if it was a lag issue or not, but I had a sniper rifle dead on for dozens of shots and only managed 1 kill on my first shot. I took to a couple of American soldiers with a Katana though so that was fun.

I loved Battlefield 2 and the openess of the levels combined with close quarter fighting, same goes with this one. The map is handy to see if someone is sneaking up on you, or to hide from a tank or fighter plane strafing you.

Speaking of planes, you can drop bombs and strafe people, as well engage in dog fights with other planes. The explosions around you when a plane is dropping bombs and shooting at you is amazing and getting the hang of not relying on the gun sight on an anti aircraft gun, but looking to see where they burst in the air is an art worth your learning. There is also a level where it's just plane Vs plane

It's a $19.95 download from your game systems store, and from what I've played of it so far, enjoyable. You could do worse with spending $20 on something.

Played again a bit last night and I tell you what, Sniping is giving me the shits. Though I was the proud creator of a shot from a bunker on a hill at a bloke in the distance who was driving a jeep trying to get to me to shoot me. Head shot on the move, thank you very much, hehehe. The bloke who I shot in a vehicle from another bunker must have been surprised as I shot through the branches of a tree to headshot him too, and got points for defending a position, a head shot.

It's semi frustrating at the moment because you'd hit someone and it will tell you that you hit an enemy soldier but not kill them. I have a feeling that you get assist points if you do that and someone else nearby finishes him off. I've had more kills with the knife/sword and pistol, hehe. Another cool thing is if you drop some dynamite you can drop multiples of it and one push of the detonator sees it all go up, Destroying buildings etc around the blast area. Tried to do it to a tank but got shot.
