This is where I got most of my Info from on B&C. Poster was OwlandMoonGuy;

Perhaps to add a bit of a hopeful glimmer to this discussion, I made it a point to talk about this with the GW staff at Games Day Chicago this last weekend. The guy who gave the presentation to the retailers had some good insight. He explained that the reason we see more attention given to Space Marines over other armies is the shorter development cycle. It takes less effort for them to write a codex & add a few upgrade sprues & special characters to a range than recreate one from top to bottom.

A lot of work has gone into Dark Eldar, Necrons and to some degree the Inquisition. But, they feel that the DE army needs to be replaced, top to bottom. When they are ready to go with DE almost every model in the range will be new. Likewise with Sister’s of Battle most of the metal range needs to be replaced by multi-part, interchangeable plastic kits. More work = more time = a longer wait.

So, the rationale that, this army “needs updating” more than BA is relevant. There is a disproportionate effort involved as well as a differing economy of scale.

So take heart. You never know. We may yet see good things for the Angel come early next year.

Also, Black Templar are nowhere near Chaos. They're a second founding Chapter of the Imperial Fists, famous for their zealous persecution of the enemies of the Emperor. If anything, according to the fluff, they have a closer link to the Orcs, what with 3 Crusades (forces that vary from 50 men to 2 companies of marines in strength) chasing Ghazkull with Yarrick since he left Armageddon. Although being that their first Chapter Master/High Marshall was the Emperor's Champion during the assault on the Emperor's palace by Horus, there is some backstory there for Chaos too.

Had to put this in after I saw this in an earlier post on the thread I got the info from;

While we're throwing out sourceless rumors, Dark Angels are coming in 2010 as well and will feature a new Ravenwing company master, Master Claus, whose land speeder is pulled by 8 prancing watchers in the dark, and on dark nights led by a 9th who has a glowing nose.

LOL! :D

I have most of the 40k comics and a whole story arc was focused on the black templars. In it they were fighting Chaos Space marines. I haven't seen any other books apart from the codex maybe i should check out lexicanum.com
