was just curious... Im starting up an Imperial Gurad army right now and have a clear 1000 pts set out. After browsing through many online forums ive come to have a deep desire to create a deathwatch kill team complete with their own drop pod. I was just wondering whether or not in larger games, proberly talking 2000pt here, if i would be allowed to use such a squad with my Imperial Guard or they would be reserved for apocalypse. regardless id proberly still make such a squad just for show, and some wicked looking models Anybody know if its possibly? |

Technically it would be apocalypse only for the moment, but in friendly games I can't see why you couldn't ask your opponent if you could use them. Basically either get opponents permission prior to the game or come with 2 lists, 1 with 1 without. |

You could take Daemonhunter Grey Knight allies with your IG. This would probably be the easiest way to get marines legitimately into an IG list, you just need the codex and some models. You can either buy the grey knights models or do a little bit of modeling of the normal SM helmets and Bob's your uncle |

IF/when the inquisition gets a new codex you would likely be able to legitimately ally them with the IG. Till then, use Grey Knights rules with Deathwatch models. |
