Name: Hailee Polten Gender: Female Birthday: June 2nd Age: 17 Appearance: She has long, wavy, chocolate-colored hair, which she usually keeps in a ponytail. She has tan skin, and a few freckles. Her eyes are a forest green color. She's somewhat tall for her age at 6 feet, and has a slim build, though she's stronger than she looks. She has a small birthmark on her neck. She has muscled legs, because she loves running and is extremely fast. Main outfit- A turquoise t-shirt, comfortable jeans, and white sneakers. Usually she has her blue hoodie on or tied around her waist. She always has her key around her neck and her woven bracelet on her right wrist. She's not one for trying to impress people, either. Usually she keeps her hair back, whether it be in a messy ponytail or a braid. Whatever she has time or patience for in the morning. Picture of Hailee: http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/6251/hailee.jpg Family: She lives with her adopted family: One brother, Dylan, and her adopted mom and dad. Hailee is trying to find somewhere to live on her own. Residence: A small house in Bluebell Village. Plans to move to the hotel soon, though. Occupation/Shop: Unemployed, but looking for a job so she can move out. History: Doesn't know who her parents are, but is determined to find out. She's been searching for clues to her past for as long as she can remember. She can't remember much of her past, but she thinks it has something to do with noble birth, considering the solid gold key around her neck. For as long as she can remember before her adopted family took her in, she was on her own and basically raised herself, making money here and there and paying for herself as best she could. She hit her head on a rock when she was younger as she was attempting to walk across a stream on the stepping stones. The stepping stones were always mossy and slippery, and she had been told not to try and cross the stream, but her childhood guy friend, Alex, had double-dared her to do it, and, being the careless little girl that she was, she took the dare. Personality: She's kind, stays loyal to her friends, and is an excellent listener. She's shy when you first meet her, but once you get to know her, she is very outgoing and funny. She is dangerous to have as an enemy, though, and holds grudges MAJORLY. She is very determined and stubborn, and won't take no for an answer when she sets her mind to something. She's also always ready with a quick remark, and has a tendency to always try for the last word. She's definitely NOT a morning person. Not the stereotypical boy-crazy teenager. She doesn't much care for trying to impress people. Likes: Running, swimming, apples, exploring the woods, climbing trees, beating the pants off of people who think they're better than everyone else, pie, earthy-type colors (she's not a hippie!), reading. Dislikes: Stereotypes, boys who think they're so much better just because they're boys, popular people, big-headed people, carrots, waking up in the morning. Personal Belongings: A bracelet she made herself, woven of grass and vines. Also, she has a necklace with a gold key on it. Ironically, it's the only thing she has linking her to her past, a "key to her past", so to speak. Other: Has a best friend named Ivy Savage. Role-play: I wrote it in first person, but I can do third person too. Whatever. You wanted a sample. Deal with it. I wake up the next morning to insanely loud pounding on my door. I immediately have the urge to mimic the pounding on whoever's head is outside my door. "Hailee? Mom said you need to wake up. Everyone but you is awake." Dylan pauses, then knocks again, louder this time. "Are you awake? Hailee?" "I'm awake! Happy?" I yell irritably. I didn't sleep well last night. I was thinking of my parents. My real ones. The ones I had no idea about. The only reason I slept at all was because I resorted to the one thing that calmed me: reading. I finally fell asleep around 'What light through yonder window breaks?'. "Jeez, Hail, don't shoot the messenger!" Dylan says back. "Don't call me that!" I snap. "Fine, whatever, Hailee! Just hurry up and get out here! You're gonna be late for your roleplay!" "And I care....Why? I don't even like roleplays!" I yell at him. I untangle my limbs from the thick blankets and peel myself out of bed. The book I fell asleep reading last night, Romeo and Juliet (ah, the classics!), slides off the bed and onto the floor. I change my pajamas to a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and trudge sleepily out to the kitchen, braiding my long brown hair as I go. Relationships: none yet Money: Roleplaying: |
