Are your ports open for Victoria 2 Multiplayer action? If you are behind a router or firewall and need to open ports to connect to or host a game, here is a bit of help: The Ports you need for Paradox games are 1630-1639 on the UDP side, and 1634 on the TCP side (for savegame transfers) You can use this free tool: http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm to test if your ports are open Some users have been able to connect by setting their router into "DMZ" mode. This stands for Demiilitarized. Try this if you seem to be unable to open your ports correctly, or if your router somehow lacks an option for port forwarding. |
