Rome thanks France for all the kind words. We will of course be looking to transfer Savoy and the city of Nice to France. We have no interest in ruling over the French in Savoy, what are we, barbaric North Germans?!

the French people greatly appreciate the gesture and only wish the best for the Italians. If the will of the people in those provinces suggests joining with France, so be it. but we understand that it is Italian territory

Whitehall vehemently objects to your entrance in the war against Japan and the United States. While we understand that you are only being faithful to an ally, we feel that Japan is completely within its rights to de-sphere itself from Spain. The King and the Imperial government are prepared to go to war to protect the Japanese right to self-determination. We will not support any territorial ambitions other than a proposed annexation of Korea by Japan.

so whitehall supports terrorist nations such as japan now? the french are mostly involved in the war due to alliances yes, but we also note the american expansion into mexico....so you support this as well? and with regards to korea....they are merely in our sphere if you wish to fight all of china to get them be our guest as they are puppets of the chinese empire... |

We Japanese certainly are not terrorists. We have hardly made a dent on how the nations of Europe conduct their business, considering what the French have done to the North German Federation. We too have a right to colonies in Asia, just as France has rights to colonies in Africa. We are a secondary power on the rise to becoming a great power. As do we have the right to remain independent from foreign nations, unless allowed to do so.

To what terrorist acts are you referring?
We do not support this. If the US or Japan seek to take Spanish oversees colonies then Whitehall will not support them. However, we have received guarantees from both the US government and the Imperial Japanese government that they do not seek territorial acquisitions at either the Spanish or French expense. This was and is the price for British help. As for the United States occupation of Mexico, this is why the Imperial Government sphered Mexico to prevent further annexations by the United States. We do not support US occupation of Mexico but at the same time are not prepared to go to war against them over it.
Why? The British are doing as you are doing, that is honoring an alliance. We have not interfered with continental affairs and do not threaten French interests either on the continent (in fact, if you recall, we have even offered you military support to guarantee your territory in the Rhineland) or abroad. If you have any grievances with Whitehall, please air them so that we may attempt to rectify the situation.

France has nothing more to say on the matter other than the following: -White peace will be given as was asked -Japan is a nation of threatening and insults towards not only the french people but towards our territorial integrity (supports germans in retaking lands) -Our Relationship is forever changed as it seems that the uk is encouraging infighting on the continent but asserting complete domination around the world. This tyranny is outrageous. |

Whitehall does not support German reconquest of the French Rhineland and has offered military aid should Germany try. Our offer still stands, regardless of perceived Anglo aggression.
Whitehall understands your perspective but notes that the alternative to the UK standing on the sidelines in Europe is the UK intervening in Europe and choosing a side. This is against our foreign policy and has been from the beginning. As for perceived British hegemony in world affairs, we understand your objection and can only say that we do not seek to dominate others, only allow them self-determination (as was the case with Japan). However, we accept that you have only our word on this. You will have to weigh how much our word is worth.
Whitehall sees this as an act of aggression. Britain maintains a fairly week army so as not to appear threatening to those on the continent. Our navy serves as our defensive mechanism. A French challenge to our naval might is seen in a most sinister light. OOC: Really? We're going to start this again?

EVERY time the french government has acted outside the continent whitehall has either threatened war or set up a pre blockade outside our lands. you even annexed half of the ONE colony that the french people claimed. why should we trust anything an englishman has said? you have done nothing to help the french other than try to contain us on the continent and force us to fight our neighbors, while you expand ur influence and spheres and deny any1 the right to colonize largely. |

The King sees the French naval buildup. He would like to inquire why the French are doing such a thing? Moreover, why are the French hostile to the United Kingdom? What are your grievances with us and what solutions would you put forward to cure the mutual distrust between our nations?

Grievances! whitehall, you stole half of the one colony we had claimed and threatened our shores with blockade if we intervened, then again threatened intervention when we backed our ally Spain to reaquire the Japanese barbarians into their sphere. and now that our navy is in fact stronger and more advanced it seems you are growing fearful and your island does not seem so far away anymore we cant allow such threats and bullying by the united kingdom anymore, you bullied us to submission on the ONLY two occasions we wished to use our influence outside the continent. so now we have the ability to combat such threats from the uk. |
