fyi, I'm only allowing Switzerland, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia.

We don't allow China in MP, and other countries may interupt with other peoples' plans and diplomacy that has already happened(Russia/Japan about Korea, etc). Especially since we've already started. Switzerland and other SA nations won't effect anyone much.

Sorry I wasn't here last week, I had to go out of the country at short notice to deal with some problems with my wifes family. I recall 2 weeks ago Magister saying you were ok with me playing as Peru. Is that still the case?

Considering that the session is tomorrow, maybe the new players should attend the session and receive country assignments (since there will probably not be time to open embassies)

It may be pretty exciting having a game with more human players in Latin America.

Suggestions:
Decision to be made by Lotos

:BIARG: philly_boy Argentina

:BICLM: Crimdal Colombia
(I was thinking Venezuela, but couldn't find the flag)

:BICHL: HHFD50 Chile

:BIPEU: Default Peru

I'm happy with the <img src='http://www.gaeawiki.com/personal_files/Flag of the Argentine Confederation.png' border='0' alt='user posted image'> Argentine Confederation :D

Latin America will be crazy crowded.

Will somebody please go to this page, and then clarify at exactly what time EST are we playing:

Also, I think that if someone is late this session (and we have a bunch of additional people so the likelihood is higher), we should probably not be restarting because of how difficult it is to get a successful restart.

Do these new nations have to post their embassies before joining tonight's session? I would think so seeing as there's diplomacy to work with South American players as one's under a German sphere and the others under U.S. sphere. xD

Will Peru keep playing? He was on last session (I think) but has yet to open an embassy.

Hello, I saw you need a sub on the paradox forums. Have never played mp Viki2 and would like to find out what it is all about.

Any slots for me to take?

I was typing that we don't need a sub anymore, but actually the people playing Sweden and Portugal sort of dropped out of the game so I guess you could fill in as one of those, if that's what you want.

What sucks is both of those countries missed colonization, and will likely stagnate unless they find some way to expand, which at this point only seems possible by getting into a war and winning.

Ok excellent, I will be free to play as perm until the 27th December and then after that I will drop out again. I wanted to just see what viki2 mp is like and whether it is too difficult for me.

Anyhow, I will make an embassy for Sweden so stay tuned!

Expansion I believe is unlikely, I will be effectively an observer, I wonder what the economic system is like in multiplayer basically.

Welcome :D

There's the save, so you can see where you stand:

http://filesmelt.com/dl/mp_North_German_Fe...on1873_04_05.7z

Since you've never played MP before: you need to take the save file and copy it to My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria II/save games

Also, make sure you install the mod and get the correct checksum (UUVQ) BEFORE the session (meaning, days before), as we wont wait for you to sort it out on friday ;)

EDIT: Expansion is of course possible, you just need the right timing.

Perm is under Russian rule and by no means will be transfered or given further autonomy.

Any rebellious attempts will result in punishment and crushing.

Wait, which Perm? They're not all Russian are they?
