Are these NAP's that some people are making full game, or is it just for the current session. Theres no end date on them.

I was under the assumption that all aggrements/treaties/alliances - anything of that nature was good only for the next session and everything has to be renewed to be valid. But you know what they say about assumptions...

As far as I know all treaties are valid for one session.

Since it's likely that I will fall asleep on my keyboard tonight, I'm going the sleep early. I guarantee you that, except a critical reason, I'll be here for the whole session next week.

I hope so. Portugal left early too, for whatever reason.

Also, if I don't hear a 100% from Toxic that he's; coming for the(full) next session, I'm gunna replace Sweden.

I didn't have my game ready at gametime and had to do some stuff anyways so I didn't show up to play a south american country. I wanna play next week just to help keep the game alive (so i can play something fun the following game). If only Victoria 2 was as convenient to play online as Eu4.

Crises:

Two edited save-games.

Crisis Edit 1 has Spain and the Philippines resend requests for support after a few days. Great Powers have the choice of ignoring request or declaring interest.

- OR -

Crisis Edit 2 which removes the Philippines independence crisis.

I've let the game run for a while and the crisis system is fixed - Philipines crisis ends succesfully and new crises arise later.

Maybe we should play with the Philipines crisis removed, who knows if it might glitch again.

I guess we are using the edit 2 save? I wouldn't want to have the same issue arise when some players either are not there to pick, or it bugs out completely.

Off-Topic: Like General William Sherman? He is staring at your soul, beware :ph43r:. (It actually creeps the shit out of me how it looks at that frame, but I like it )

Anyone fancy subbing me on the Sunday reddit game? I won't be around for the entire session; I have a concert to go to. I'm Japan, and I'll be happy to fill you in on the game as I understand it.

You haven't been rolled by someone? As I understand it, there are no rules in that game - you can go well over 100 infamy as long as you can handle the consciousness gain.

Also, 20 players or more mean very unstable game. Not sure if I would enhoy that :).

I've not been rolled by anyone. China is being very peaceful, which is nice. I got two successive waves of reactionaries, while I was invading Brunei, so I haven't yet modernised, but I'll do so before China, and be considerably stronger for ~5 years, if I wanted to attack China.

India is a little scarier, though.

What's the status of Portugal, Sweden and Peru? Are they playing, or should we start thinking about subs?

I guess there will be an official save from the GM. But this is the save I took when the game ended.

What do you guys think about starting a thread re: Conference for Africa? We could discuss the remaining conflicting claims and work out deals so that these claims don't escalate to war. If so, how would we organize it?

It might be best to appoint a neutral mediator to settle such claims. Just at first glance, it appears the Ottomans or the Russians do not have conflicting claims with any other powers and one of them might be best as a mediator to settle these disputes -- just my thoughts.

I was thinking if we chose a host, they could open it - as the conference would be hosted in their capital city.

edit: Of course there should be rules, set by the host. For example, all invited parties will agree to the ruling of the neutral mediator. Failure to abide by the ruling will result in -50 prestige points for the violator. That may sound harsh, but it encourages negotiation..if it's too harsh, maybe -40? Whomever is mediator could figure out some way to enforce his ruling.

I second ice's nomination for Russia as a host.

I think a Conference of Moscow would be a wonderful idea (and might help the Russians be a little less of a pariah). Istanbul has been on the decline for a while, unfortunately.

Just a random note, a few people who have been doing the most diplomacy get the first picks for the next MP, so far the first rights to pick nations for the next MP(but don't start thinking about that yet :P), if you join of course, would be: 1. Magister, 2. rorlegion, 3. Philly_boy, 4. SchFeirrera, 5. Icen, in that order.

Has Philly_Boy actually done more diplomacy in a week than I have done in a month?

I was playing the save and I'm getting MASSIVE (100+ brigades) anarcho-liberal revolts, and it seems close to impossible to prevent them u_u Since they're mostly irregulars, it is possible to fend them off, but still it's very annoying. While I'm essentially an anarcho-liberal IRL, I really don't want to abandon Monarchy and became a laissez-faire republic. Sucks...

... I'm guessing no one wonders why I don't abolish slavery? You actually think I wanted the shit? No, due to reactionary population I cannot do this.

My upper house will not vote on it, I cannot roll into a reform on anything, only backwards.

Unless someone wants to magically edit that in for me, I'm stuck with it. (don't be an ass and say they will overthrow my government by war bullshit to make it so.)

Slavery sucks, it kills the economy, I cannot tax them, and you guys are all pissy about it. I GET IT.

That's true, you are stuck with "party only" upper house. Try changing government to liberals or conservatives, if that's even possible, to enact the reform.
