Kingdom of the Two Sicilies The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies welcomes you to its embassy. Our country is greatly committed to the further integration and brotherhood of italian people in Europe and elsewhere, as is with the advancement of the latin race and its expansion throughout the mediterranean. His Majesty King Ferdinand II believes deeply in the God-given duty to expand the superior italian culture, along with the one true faith, into those corners of the world not yet touched by civilization. Foreign policy Form a unified Italy for all italians Rid the italian peninsula of unwanted foreign control Become a Great Power Establish colonial domains in the north of Africa Better relations with fellow catholic nations Contribute to the advancement of catholic Western Culture See a wholly christian Europe Domestic policy Maintain our historic tradition of a strong monarch Industrilize our country Build an extensive network of railroads for our industry and people Modernize our army and navy Fight against the anarchistic liberal hereticism Through state control, to rid Italy of poverty and illiteracy King Ferdinando Carlo, of the House Bourbon. ![]() (feel absolutely free to correct my grammar, spelling, or w/e, as english is not my first language) |

Greetings to the Kingdom of Two Sicilies. The French Republic believes it is our responsibility to improve the rights of people, as well as maintaining order and civility. The French Republic also believes in the seperation of Church and State. Despite our differences in beliefs, we will still support the formation of a unified Italian state, even if it is only to improve the balance of power in Europe, and end foreign subjugation of the Italian minor states and their people. Answering the plea of the Northern Italians in the Austrian Empire is surely a just cause as well, and we hope Two Sicilies and Austria may come to an agreement over Austrian-held Italian territories like Lombardy. Two Sicilies has shown interest in establishing colonies in North Africa, as France has done. We'd like to inquire on what specific colonies Two Sicilies will pursue in North Africa? Not that we will oppose it, we just need to know.

To the King of Sicily: Although we have different views on religion, Sweden supports The Two Sicily's endeavor to unify the people of the Italian peninsula. For we ourselves are in the midst of a quest to unify the people of Scandinavia. May Prosperity be with you.

King Carlos V personally thanks the Sicilian Government for its support of deposing of the Pretender Isabella I. Regarding Italian unification, we see no issue in a unified Italy, and shall support the Sicilian effort to do so. With a Central Government in Rome controlling the entire nation, a naval power within the Mediterranean can finally break the deadlock the Ottoman Turks have had on the region for centuries. Hopefully our 3 nations can create a peaceful sphere of influence in Northern Africa and Southern Europe. Signed, Spanish Foreign Office. |

The Spanish Empire would like to remind the Sicilian Government, that the Treaty of Corsica is more of a declaration of a French Puppet, and would hope Sicily has looked over and realized this fact and does not accept its terms. France, is effectively dissolving monarchies around the world, we ask Sicily not to become the stepping stone on France's imperialist ambitions through Liberalism, whether its forceful diplomatic conversion, or chaotic rebellion. Signed, Spanish Foreign Office |

Greetings from the Office of the President of the United States of AmericaRegarding Texan independence: The U.S. is observing the situation in Texas. While our government has not yet taken an official position regarding the dedication of troops to fight for Texan independence, we have a policy of supporting liberal governments open to free trade in the Americas. Thus, we will be sending war subsidies to support this new independent nation so that trade can continue between our two countries. It seems strange to me that your nation, a minor nation in Europe, is so fascinated by the affairs of sovereigns all the way across the sea in the Americas, of which your country has no apparent interest. The U.S. wishes to have peaceful relations with all European nations as this facilitates trade and peaceful exchange between our peoples. Thus, the U.S. is uninterested in meddling with European affairs. If you truly wish to have diplomatic and trade relations with our nation, we urge you to tend to your own affairs and leave the Americas to the sovereigns located there. As per our Monroe doctrine, if your nation wishes to intervene in the Americas, our government will have no choice but to treat such action with hostility. I should also inform you that the United Kingdom has expressed support of our Monroe doctrine and may commit troops to deter any European meddling with affairs in the Americas. Best regards to the Sicilian monarch. |
