[I stole it from france :D] Russia is happy to normalize relations with the Ottoman Empire despite old strifes. We will support Ottoman claims on the arabian peninsula and be open for discussion on other matters. Yours, Nicholas I of Russia |

The queen is wondering if the Ottomans knowingly took a British claim, the Dumyat region or if it was a mistake.

The Queen believes there is only one solution to the issue. The Sultan will transfer the region to the United Kingdom, or will face severe diplomatic repercussions.

Prince von Metternich can corroborate that the Ottoman Empire repeatedly asked whether the acquisition of Dumyat was acceptable and no reply was forthcoming from any party. |

![]() Agreement to delimitate italian and ottoman colonial expansion in the Sahara The Kingdom of Italy wishes to propose yet another treaty to The Ottoman Empire. As the colonization of Africa is expected to begin within less than a decade, and because of the geographical proximity of the italian and ottoman possessions in the north of Africa, it is likely that conflicts will arise for the right to colonize the saharan region of the Dark Continent. Our countries have signed a non-aggression treaty, making a colonial dispute even less desirable. Therefore, the agreement we propose is the following 1. The Kingdom of Italy will refrain from colonizing Niger, Outer Hausaland and all regions east of these. 2. The Ottoman Empire will refrain from colonizing Sahara, Timbuktu and all regions west of these. 3. In case of accidentally sending an expedition to a renounced territory, the country in question will withdraw before the dispute escalates. 4. The penalty for deliberately going against any of the points mentioned will be -100 prestige. [x] Signed [ ] Signed

I asked you twice about Egypt, for two of the Ottoman-Egyptian wars. The other times I talked to you about them was letting you know I was about to go to war with them. You should have asked me about Nejd and Oman, as I was a claimant on those regions. Having expressed interests in Nejd and Oman, I have not felt the need to ask for Austrian permission to annex these states. |

Because it was part of your war with Oman, I didn't realize you would attempt to take Nejd as well. |

Russia would like to propose a solution for the Oman dispute. Russia would cede Russian Eritrea, a mall piece of coast in Africa, in exchange of Austria ceding Oman to the Ottoman Empire. The exchange would also be accompained by an economic compensation on behalf of Ottoman coffers. We look forward to hear from both delegations. |

My apologies but I hadn't heard of a dispute from either Russia or the Ottoman Empire before now, could you elucidate? |

Just a few missives above, the Ottoman Empire expressed his interest in Nejd and Oman. Also, Oman was freed by Russia, and we would like to keep a say on its fate. |

We understand Austria has no interest in an exchange in the Arabian peninsula and Red Sea. Still, the offer is on the table on Russian behalf. Maybe sufficient economic compensation from the Sultanate would change Austrian mind? |
