So no Italy, and no Japan. Who else won't be making it? |

I mean hopefully there will be an Italy. Maybe you guys can ask your buddies from the other game if someone can sub. I think I can probably make it next week but for sure not this friday. |

I think we just need a restart or a new game on Fridays. maybe one hosted by a GM other than Lotos and his crazy rules? |

For what it's worth, I think Lotos' rules and style of GMing (minus the lack of mic haha) have contributed to the game working out fine so far. Some rules do need to be reconsidered, but there will be time for that. |

I like very much this game. Not only because my nation (Russia) is doing fairly well, but because of roleplay is being the major diplomacy mover. Everything makes some sense historically wise, instead of everyone jumping on each other for the lulz. Would love to see an AAR of this game, or maybe of a similar more conflicted one. |

Without Lotos' crazy rules, you get stuff like everybody ganging up on Austria and dismantling it WW1 style on the first session. I don't think we should restart. |

I'd just like to say that I'll likely miss/be pretty late to tomorrow's session. I'll be at my grandparents, and I'll see what I can do, but no promises. |

I'd rather continue, gotta recover Brazil from my inept handling of funds during a time of mass influenza during the war. |

I, too, think that the vast majority of Lotos' rules work. I understand that this may not be "your kind" of game Crimdal, but speaking for myself I much rather prefer this kind of a game than what we have going on in Empire, with, like SchFerreira said, everyone dismantling Austria on the first session (well, second). I don't think a restart is necessary, and we can play one session without Japan or Italy, but I am sure we can find a sub for Italy. |

That was during a Crisis, Rye took most of Lotos rules, except for the new ones he's trying to add like no states not along a border can make forts and nations Lotos doesn't play lose bonus of worthy soldiers from non accepted cultures. Self serving rules are the worst rules was my only point. |

The fact that it was a crisis is irrelevant, nothing of the sort has happened in this game which leads one to the conclusion that there is obviously a different gaming mentality. |

The fact that it was a Crisis is very relevant if you weren't being narrowminded. There was a teamup against Austria this last session and he did very well for himself, Italy Spain and Brazil vs Austria is a teamup even if Austria ended up repelling the invasion. |

Whatever Crimdal. I'm the narrow minded one, right. |

Should I move over to Japan? That one dude had a horrible start for Brazil so I am not partial to playing Brazil or moving to Japan and trying to fix that up. |

not your fault, I compounded the mistakes tenfold by joining that war with Spain and Italy versus Austro Hungary. Couldn't afford it and went bankrupt. |

I don't think Japan is in a much better position. Missed 4 of 5 sessions. |

Brazil got no early colonial migration and I lost it's prestige. Japan would be easier for me at this point, already start with better literacy.. I'd go isolationist Japan and wouldn't make any alliances prior to session if I am allowed to switch. If not I will stay as Brazil since it is my fault I lost prestige. |
