Russia and Mexico mutual defense pact: 1) Russia and Mexico agree to provide mutual defense in case of foreign invasion. 2) Both nations will allow military access to each other for garrison stationing in conflict areas. 3) As Major Power, Russia compromisses to not peace out when Mexico is in position of losing territory, unless requested by Mexico. 4) The alliance will be effective after the Texan revolution, in which Russia will not intervene. From the Office of the President of the United States of AmericaTo the Russian delegation: The U.S. has intentions, viz a viz "manifest destiny," to colonize westward to the Pacific coast - by using force if necessary. This treaty will almost surely bring about Russian-American conflict, which both nations have expressed would not be in their best interests. The United States strongly urges the Russian delegation to withdraw this proposal before it is signed by Mexico. As such, the U.S. will not interfere with Russian colonization of Asia or the Asian-Pacific regions in the hope that Russia will not interfere with internal conflicts in the Americas. Please note that the U.S. is disinterested in meddling in European affairs only so long as European powers do not meddle in affairs in the Americas. Should a great power wish to interfere with affairs in the Americas, the U.S. may "but in" to affairs in Europe and Asia in efforts to establish alliances to protect American interests, foreign and domestic. In the very least, we ask that Russia add an exception to this treaty that Russia will not involve itself in wars against the United States. |

With what right does the USA claim rightful Mexican territories? USA territory is already big and unpopulated. If USA really wants Russia out of the Americas, it should refrain itself from influencing Japan, Korea, or any other Russian interest in the Asia-Pacific region, specially in north-east Asia. |

To the Russian delegation:If Russia agrees not to interfere with the affairs in the Americas, the U.S. will agree to not interfere with Russian interests in the Asian and Asia-Pacific regions. America is a young nation wishing to expand and bring enlightenment to Western North America. Surely Russia can understand the notion of self identity coupled with expansion, as your nation too has expanded from Europe all the way to your Pacific coast. |

In Mexico we don't understand why the USA government feels threatened by a defense treaty between two sovereign nations. That reaction from the yankee government is even more worrying than the previous support to the texan rebels. Meaning that probably intends to attack at least one of the nations of this treaty. We strongly recommend United States of America to do not act as if the only sovereign nation in America was herself. [x]Signed |

While we understand the USA concerns, Russia is obligued to honor the treatise with Mexico. We are still open for talks, as the California treatise will not stand forever. A possible solution for the Pacific spheres of Russia and USA has been sent to the USA government in Washington. [x] Signed |
