The English have also discovered some sort of landmass in the west The Crown has laid claim upon it and hopes to find a way to the Spice lands of Asia. We have also found half naked men and women roaming around these lands…..Very Curious. |

He shall be the Sword and we shall be the shield. Navy and Army, together, never alone, till the end. Long live the Commonwealth of the Empire. It's not necessarily that Sweden doesn't want an alliance with Britain, it's just... Well... We don't see how this benefits either side? Clearly, you aren't interested in fighting for Sweden on the land even when it's a fully defensive war where we were unjustly attacked - And thusly, if our alliance is not even to be considered a defensive pact, why have it? If we're to be allied, we must either help eachother at least in defensive wars. |

Might be easy to make that claim since you've never had or been asked to help out England in a defensive war. Just sayin' Oh wait....who would war deck the by far #1 Navy with the backing of a (up-start) top five perma-ally nation...err colony. I don't think Newfoundland can be called a 'colony' when its a top five nation ![]() |

On behalf of the Coalition, Sweden offers Britain the following peace to bring an end to our ongoing conflict: The Swedish Empire will pay Britain 500 ducats. The Swedish Empire will repay its debts to the United States. The Swedish Empire will forget all of Britain's transgressions against us and we will resume a neutral stance. If these terms are not accepted (Or further negotiated upon), then we will be forced to pursue an openly hostile stance towards the British Empire. We do not want to do this because we already have enough to worry about, but if Britain gives us hostility we will have NO CHOICE but to respond in kind to preserve our own interest (Being blockaded sux). You have been warned, consider the offer of peace carefully - General Gustav reports from the field that the Prussian forces are on their last legs. The ratio of infantry to cannon is shaky on their fields, and over a third of their country is occupied. Once the wings of the eagle have been broken, it will be a simple enough matter to march to Sweden to finish your occupying forces. This war is in vain, and you would be wise to cut your losses and leave before you make yourself yet another enemy - Your behavior has already infuriated the world, and if you think you can win against a coordinated fleet of heavy-ships, you're incorrect. Consider our offer carefully. We will not make it twice. Sincerely, The Swedish Empire |

That fleet consisted of: - Old Dutch ships - Swedish trade fleet (outdated) - Ottoman galleys - 20 Frankish heavies ... All funneled into battle with no admiral, one fleet at a time If you would like to see what happens when all of us build heavies and transports and nothing but, then we can play it that way. Maybe you'll realize your mistake when you figure out that it is your (good) fleet VS the rest of the world. I'm laughing. What makes you think that you can survive our combined navies? You got wrecked once, let us see what happens when the Swedes get involved. If you're arrogant enough to actually think you can take on an assault of that magnitude, then I'll be laughing when Scotland's a Swedish duchy, Ireland is dark blue, Wales is Portuguese for the hell of it, and you're reduced to your royal demense. Sincerely, The Swedish Empire |

The British and Americans are shocked at this proposal. The war is far from over, lands that are occupied can easily be retaken, and the American forces have yet to even land or aide in any offense on the continent. Meanwhile the entire south american continent has been occupied, Sweden is being razed to the ground. I will use your paper as a wipe for my ass. There is a continent wide blockade with a massive increase in British warships continually coming. No combined navy could ever reach our naval tradition and now that we are completing naval ideas, we laugh at the thought of any invasion attempt. We were once tricked into a falsehood of friendship by the French, dutch, and ottomans. We will not fall for this fallacy again. They wanted to pay the iron price, they have and are reaping the rewards. We will stick with our Prussian allies until the end. ![]() EDIT: Actually the fleet consisted of close to 100 heavy's of different magnitude. and the Dutch had a decent Admiral in there. You still lost 350ish ships vs my 25 lost ships... Also is the world is willing to put a massive funding into their navy, there will be no way to keep their current army levels high enough to combat a Prussia

Portugal finds it very disruptive that Sweden "offered wales" for the hell of it. Portugal has absolutely no interest in this conflict. ~~~ Portugal extends a generous and sincere thank you to the United States for returning control of the Havanna Casino to Cuban natives. That's where I'm at at least. Sipping margaritas. (Maybe that's why Portuguese soldiers die so fucking fast) |

In the year 1701 of our Lord, George de Bourgogne IV had many decisions to make. The war for Prussia's right of existence was lost, their king in exile, muslims expanding in Europe and in South America, and France seemed to be an unstopable monster. As he sat upon his throne, after claiming control and installing an Absolute Monarchy, he began to ponder his options. Britain's land forces were adequete at best, they could combat French forces and Dutch forces, but still needed more training. The navy...was unstopable. Ever since the War of Humiliation, the Kings of the United Kingdom made it their goal to re-establish dominance over the seas. Never again would a foreign power, unwelcomed, be allowed to set foot on the home islands again. It was also decided to make sure there was enough ships to cover all the trading routes and holdings the kingdom had worldwide. With the resources and funding from our cousins in the USA, the Kings of the United Kingdom over a 50 year time period made sure to establish a global fleet, one based in the Pacific and one based in the home islands to prevent just that. 'Never again' and 'Britannia Rules the Waves' became the rallying cry and with that reclaimed all lands lost in the War of Humiliation. Now George sits and ponders, he begins to look to his cousin in the cold north of Europe, valuing their impressive arms and military tactics on the land. It might be time to finally reconcile with them, to ensure the Bourgogne name will forever be remembered as some of the most powerful familys Europe ever knew. (and updated) |

We are willing to consider an alliance - After all, you are family. However, how do we know that this alliance will prosper Sweden? After all, you just fought against us and rejected our overtures for peace. Furthermore, it has been proven that the British Empire value hurting their rivals over helping any friends they may have. |

In exchange for growing ties and a show of good faith, after occupying the majority of Sweden and causing untold harm to the economy, the cousin and King of England gifts the sum of 10,000 ducats to the Emperor of Sweden and lifts the embargo. Sweden will continue to recieve funding as long as the alliance stays true and the north sea trade is kept as is. |

The King of Sweden is enjoying some tea from his allies, the Mughals, when the news from Britain arrives. There's a loud noise that echoes through the palace as the teacup slams to the floor and shatters, him having dropped it in shock. He orders a reply drafted. "Absolutely, cousin. It does seem like an alliance would be wise - Let it prosper for a hundred years!" |

The British King has validated the following message: "For too long has the Enemy in the north cried fowl pointing the blame at other nations. Too long has he willing siezed lands from neighbors, ethnically cleansed them, and even relocated some to labor camps to contruct "conscription centers". We have found out these are actually brain washing centers to force young children and men to become loyal to his crown. The original "enemy" fabricated by the Swedish Empire, is no more. He has been replaced by Sweden himself, who not only has more men at his command, but more forces and better training! The King's troops are not as strong or powerful as the Swedish Empire's as they have not been at constant war for as long as his cousin has been. Anyone who is willing to stand against this menance will recieve adequate funding from the British Empire coffins." The British also welcome the newfound friendship between the Mughal Empire. The British hope their cousin in Brandenburg can see the light and be wary of their choices. The British hope the Sultan in Constantinople burns, for their part in the rape of Britain in the early 1600s. The British send their support to the Spanish and Portuguese, who after many years has finally found a common enemy, in the Sunni Morrocco Empire who tried to push the only catholics apart. The British hope the Austrian Empire continues to prosper. The British high-five America for continuing to be awesome. The British want a Chinese port in Hong Kong! (lol) |
