On behalf of the King of France, we welcome you to Paris. Revel in the splendor of our capital, and of the glory of the House of Valois.

Policies:
1) Help maintain the peace in Eastern Europe
2) Help our dear ally, the Netherlands, gain a colonial empire
3) Restore the greatness of Italy by ending the petty wars that divide the Peninsula
4) Establish a colony in Sumatra and Java

As King of the Seas and ruler of the new Lands discovered to the west, The King of England must INSISTS on there being no French ambitions or attempts to colonize to the west.

Africa and Asia are not our domains but we have planted the Flag firmly in the soil. :BIENG:

The Kingdom of Castile, truly discoverer of the "New World", doubts that a flag planted on an iceberg makes the King of England owner of not much more than what he needs to make an icecone...

English Troops have established a foward base in this "Greenland" and have landed in a northern Environment and encountered strange folk walking around naked.

We see no Spanish troops or ships anywhere nearby.

The King of England is not the King of France, and you have no friend in Paris. It is absurd that after warring us for our throne, and intervening against us when we tried to retake our rightful territories, that you would come demanding that we recognize your claims to the entire New World.

Until you come and make amends for your treachery, your demands meaning nothing to us.

How can the French hope to civilize the new world, when they are nothing but uncivilized brutes themselfs?
The king of Burgundy supports English claims to the new world and hopes that the misguided ambitions of France will not prove to be a hindrance.

The "King" of Burgundy denounces France as a land of "uncivilized brutes" when he himself speaks French, dresses as a Frenchman, and rules over Frenchmen. Yet you are nothing more than a poor imitator, not worthy to stand with your betters.

You are a mere Duke, who, unable to restrain his foul and treacherous ambitions, dishonored the sacred bonds of feudal fealty to his rightful liege lord, the King of France.

Stand with perfidious Albion, as you must, for your two countries reek of dishonor.

If we see a french fleet larger than 20 ships leave the coast of france in the atlantic, we will view it as a threat and destroy it prompty. Especially if we see such a fleet sailing towards the new world.

So typical of the French!

When you get involved in war, it seems to mysteriously work out in Poland's favor. When the Austrians and Polish are losing a war in a landslide, you come rushing in to aid them and allow them to enforce the most base of terms; when the Swedes and their Brandenburg allies are losing a war in a landslide, you lazily enter the fray in order to settle a peace deal in their enemies' favor. How can this be justice? The same conditions turned out two different ways. If France wants to keep the balance of power in the North, the same standards must be applied to all conditions and situations.

The bias is not only staggering, but deeply unsettling. Apparently France is willing to keep the balance of power - In Poland's favor.

That said, Sweden is appreciative that you stopped the Polish from completing their Prussian ambitions. It could've been worse.

The Kingdom of France regrets if the Swedish perceive our arbitration of the war to be unfair.

As a mostly neutral power, we have fought for both sides, in the hopes of maintaining the balance of power and thus, peace in Eastern Europe.

In one war, we helped the Ottoman Empire reclaim its lost lands in the Balkans and to strip away Poland's Prussian lands in the former Teutonic and Livonian Order lands.

In another war, we intervened to stop the destruction of Poland, which only led to minor border adjustments.

In another war, we intervened to arbitrate a fair and just peace that will allow future expansion for both Sweden and Poland in the future, without allowing Poland to become a dangerous Prussia.

We are deeply loathe to sacrifice precious French blood in faraway wars, which is why we remain reluctant to get involved unless a major war erupts that threatens to completely upset the balance of power. We hope that peace will prevail in the future.

As of now, a tentative partition of Muscovy has been agreed upon.

Poland has expressed desire to regain its alleged "cores" in Livonia and the Prussian Coast, however.

It has yet to be seen if peace can prevail under these conditions, but Sweden doesn't have plans for war in the near future.
