1st Presidential Decree: "As the First President of the Gran Colombian Republic, I hereby declare to transform Gran Colombia into a beacon of liberty in the New World. This shall be a nation free of fear and want, a nation that rises above adversity to take its place among the giants. Shaped by the strength of laborers, and the hope of artists, Gran Colombia shall begin anew and be a home for whomever is cast out by the tyrants of the old world. From this day, to the end of days, Gran Colombia shall exist to serve and protect those in need." Domestic Affairs: Educate the populace. Industrialize the Republic. Protect the Workers. International Affairs: Make mutually beneficial agreements with Mexico and Brazil. Maintain peaceful relations with nations, near and far.

Russia congratulates the formation of Gran Colombia, especially having it formed sooner than most expected. We welcome Gran Colombia as a major power in its region, able to look after the common welfare and defense of its people and those in the region. |
