You sir are horribly mistaken and increadibly rude to suggest that we, the upstanding bankers of Nigeria, would scam the international community |

Sorry to hear about your mother Claudius. So I have my schedule for now. I cannot attend the old date as I have advanced mathematiks class during that time. It goes from 4:40 - 5:35 Pacific time. If we can work around that I should be able to play.

Quick question: what time will the game likely be hosted? (and how long will it run?) The usual? I have some unexpected travel coming up in the next week, but if the time for the game is settled, I will try to find a way to prioritize (by which I mean, cancel everything during the game time slot.) |

Question II: is there a way to make crises a more important part of the game through the rule-set? |

See friss, some people are dedicated. As for the other question, I would love it if crises would become more of a thing. I think the best way of doing this is to pause during the start of a crisis, for ~20s, while all the GPs state if they would support either side. I would also support the suspension of alliance rules for the crisis. |

The problem with crises is that they are poorly implemented into the game to begin with. For instance, it's absurd that the whole thing just dies down unless both parties get GP backing. IRL if say Peru triggers a crises to demand territory from Ecuador, and Peru gets GP backing and Ecuador doesn't, Peru just doesn't let the matter rest for no reason. I really hope you play Magister, the game is just not the same without you =C |

This can be worked around: some other third party GP can simply defend and lose in place of an actual fight going on. This works because the crisis would only be supported after any nations have declared their interest. It's not elegant, but I think that crises are quite important to leave in the game. They add dynamism to a game that is otherwise entrenching your alliances and throwing troops at one another, and also provide methods for smaller nations to expand, especially if they have powerful unions to work towards (Romania, Poland, etc). |

I started doing roster, I'll be talking to people tomorrow on steam and maybe I'll release ~10 countries. Also, note that OE will have an Oriental Crisis event chain to retake control of Egypt so it's more interesting to play than normally. |

Vanilla OE is probably one of the most interesting nations in the game. So much potential, in such a key position, so little time. |

Considering how many signups we have, and that three quarters of them are for the same 4 GPs I'm sad to inform that about 10 people will be very unhappy with the roster. I'm trying to rotate some people who did well as smaller powers int osomething more significant this time, as well as accomodate a couple of new players but can't please everybody. |

Considering that we have Australia and South Africa on the roster, I assume the UK has been placed and is fine with releasing these nations? |

I'll have you know that as far as respected Ottoman ethnographers are concerned, "Hillbilly", "Redneck", "Hicks" and most terms direction at people in the less densely populated areas of the south-eastern parts of the northern Brazil area are completely valid, interchangeable terms, as they are but various expressions of the same phenomenon: A series of slurs that advance the degradation of a proud and noble race of bible-respecting, cousin-loving, weapon-wielding maniacs with little regard for the entrapment of common sense and our more conventional ways of life. |
