REGARDING HANNOVER 1847 The Prussian Diplomatic Corps extends our greetings to the Kingdom of the United Netherlands and expresses our hope to maintain close and communicative relations between Berlin and The Hague. Regarding Hannover, we were under the impression that the understanding was that the territory was to be transferred to Hannoverian or Prussian administration and are pleased to understand that the Kingdom of Prussia has opted to transfer the region to Prussia. As for the East Indies, our aims are limited to a handful of islands and only a sliver of the New Guinea mainland. We look forward to discussing these claims with the Dutch Government in the coming years. |

![]() Australia greets the new Dutch monarchy. As it is well known, Australia also lays claim to New Guinea and there had been a deal in place with the previous government over its transfer. We hope to continue strong relations between the Netherlands, the British Crown, and Australia. |

![]() Australia once again greets the new Dutch government and Monarchy. We are concerned a deal that had been agreed upon between the former Dutch government and the United Kingdom may no longer be enforced as there was no formal treaty signed. A British diplomat is on his way from London and we hope a peaceful solution can be reached. |

![]() It is of great importance that a resolution over New Guinea be achieved within the next few hours. Australia apologizes for the complete withdrawal of the British Crown from international conversations, but there must be some kind of answer out of the Netherlands. As far as it is understood in Melbourne, the peaceful transfer of New Guinea to Australia was a part of this agreement which led to the Netherlands reclaiming Belgium. |

The Kingdom of Sardinia wishes to formally express its gratitude towards the people of The Netherlands for their loyal support during the recently ended war. The sacrifice made by the dutch and belgian people will never be forgotten, and as long as The House of Savoy occupies the throne of our nation The Netherlands will have an eternal ally in us. |

EAST INDIES TREATIES 1865 The North German Diplomatic Corps congratulates the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Commonwealth of Australia on concluding a second treaty relating to the East Indies. The peaceful co-existence between the Dutch—who have enjoyed an enduring presence in the region—and the Australians—a new nation and rising star in the Southern Hemisphere—is indeed a model of international relations from which Europe may learn a few lessons. |

![]() It was most unfortunate that both Australia and the Netherlands laid claim to the Portuguese port in Bombay at the same time. However, we have no doubt that as we have in the past that terms will be come to and a peaceful solution reached. Australia looks forward to protecting Dutch Sumatra and Java as well as our neighboring colonies in Indochina. |

We ask for official permission to leave the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Royal Australian armies in the Netherlands in case they are needed for future conflicts. |
