His Majesty, King William IV, would be happy to allow a Turkish embassy in London. And will reciprocate with an embassy in Istanbul at the quickest opportunity. In the matter of Egypt, it is of the utmost importance to regional stability that Egypt is brought back under the Sultan's dominion. With a proper treaty written and signed, a British expedition is prepared to deal with Egyptians upstarts.

I invite you to our Embassy in Austria. We believe that we have mutual interests, especially in creating a recognised border between our nations. I also wish to pursue an alliance as well as recognition of our respective claims. ~ Eisenblutberg |

*The French Ambassador presents his credentials to the Sublime Porte in Istanbul* France greets His Imperial Majesty Mahmud II. While France has supported the Muhammad Ali Dynasty of Egypt in the past, the Ottoman recognition of our claims as well as our rapproachment with the United Kingdom disposes us to shift support for restored, direct Ottoman rule in the territories of Syria and Egypt. When you have concluded a formal treaty with the United Kingdom, we will be happy to sign a similar agreement with the Porte as well.

The good King of Austria would like to accept the proposal of a non-aggression pact, hoping to extend this one day to an alliance. We appreciate that this may not be achievable now however we do support this being achieved in the future. While we will not therefore be able to give unyeilding support to the Ottomans, we respect and understand their current feelings and reassure you that the offer of an alliance and full support will always be on the table. ~ Eisenblutberg |

While the Sultan has not expressed any plans or intentions to place the island of Cyprus for sale, France requests to be given first right of refusal on such a purchase, should The Porte plan such a transaction in the future.

As-salam-o-alaikum Sultan, we are pleased to hear warm news from our neighboring country. Persia will gladly accept military alliance. As for the money, our country does not need it at the moment but we are grateful for the offer. May the sun always shine on the Ottoman Empire.
