*The French Ambassador presents his credentials at Mexico City*

France wishes the young Mexican Republic a prosperous future. We intend to abide by the Monroe Doctrine as subscribed by the United Kingdom and the United States, and so Mexico shall have nought to fear from France. We intend merely to retain our existing holdings in the Carribean and in the Guyanas. However, we shall not hesitate to act, should Mexico ever incur French debt and prove unwilling to repay its loans.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland greets the Mexican people with friendship and respect. We are glad to see some semblance of peace being maintained in North America.

If the Mexican government would like such an arrangement, the British government is prepared to sign a similar agreement to the one proposed to Brazil. That is, only Great Britain is required to defend Mexico from European aggression, though Mexico has no obligation to aid in defending Great Britain.

Greetings El Presidente,
We formally invite Mexico to send a high ranking diplomat to Washington Dc. to discuss the formation of The League of Nations.

We wish to form a common bond between Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and USA through the creation of an institution to bring more transparency between our great states.

While the League of Nations is broad in scope and vague in detail towards the parameters of it's reach as an international institution, regardless Van Buren believes such a precedence of open policy and trade between our nations will only breed good natured competition and possibly lessen the chance of military conflict between the Americas.

Austria wishes the Mexican government luck in restoring order to the rebellious provinces of Texas. Austria opposes any sort of self-appointed independence movement and wishes to ensure stability around the globe.

Austria hopes that Mexico and Austria can have friendly relations.

The United States requests Mexico withdraw it's Colombian claims to coincide with the Chilean-Brazilian agreement over the reorganization of South America. While the United States has no immediate issue with the Mexican claims, they are the main barrier standing in the way between a Pan-American alliance.

If our claims are truly the only thing standing in the way of peace then we shall let the Brazilians have northern Colombia.

The United States thanks you for your quick no-nonsense approach to diplomacy.

The League of Nations aka The Pan American Alliance has been sown with the seeds of contention and compromise. The fact that it's conception was not born without conflict proves the durability of our cause, and furthermore that any efforts foreign or domestic to compromise the integrity of the PAA will be met with calloused indifference, as nothing detractors could produce would be enough for diplomatic defection among our equally important and equally esteemed members of the sovereign states of the Americas.

The Two Sicilies thank you for your kind words of our unification.

Trust in that our nation has no interest in interfering in business across the Atlantic, indeed there is already much buzzing about in the European continent for us to even consider such, and it would be a grave insult from us to suggest that we had any right to do so.

The concern was merely that any man can be a tyrant whenever he's elected or not. Though we know Mexico now to be led by competent and skilled men, we have counted at least 17 changes in your Head of State since the last emperor was deposed. As such, it was merely a reflection upon the stability that such a monarch, albeit considering your history maybe merely only one in name, could bring. Indeed, the concern seems silly now that Mexico has been stable for over a decade now and seems to be nearing a blooming age.

((Just took a gander upon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_heads...state_of_Mexico - talk about a swing door presidency. No wonder Mexico struggled historically))

OOC: Your completely right there were tons of changes in Presidents but most of them were coups. There were only 3 major revolutions that led to changes in Government. Thats a far cry the 7 I have had in this session alone.
