Britain likes where the Russians are headed. Human rights only destroy unity and slow down the progress of the nation. People need a strong leader to guide them or they shall never move forward. In any case, Britain recognizes the new Russian government and wishes it strength in the coming decade.

The United States looks upon the Soviet Union with both awe and dissatisfaction as our economic and political ideologies are quite far apart. That said we hope to keep in close communication with the Soviets. Even though we have drastically different methods of governing our people, an amicable relationship between our two governments is still possible.
