We gather here to reinforce the ideals of the Monroe doctrine. After the previous century of aggression, the time has come to recognize that while some of the American nations have achieved independence, the European powers are here to stay and the remaining colonies may be better off managed by the guiding hands of their home nations.

Any nation not on the list may come to us to request inclusion to this treaty, however we recognize that the Brazilian and Chilean armies may be busy undoing the needless fragmentation that swept over the southern continent, and this treaty will protect them regardless. As for Mexico, we have yet to receive an answer to our communications regarding the Texan crisis.

- Ambassador Yorick Y. York

- That the United States of America shall respect all current signature European powers holdings and refrain from claiming them by aggression.
- That any signature nation shall refrain from expanding their holdings in the Americas by aggression, nor siding against the United States in American wars.
- That any signature nation can join any other signature nation in defensive/offensive war, should this treaty be broken or an american nation become a target of other outside intervention regarding American affairs.
- "The Americas" are to be understood as the united continent of South and North America, Hawaii and all islands in the Caribbean and off the coast of South America.
- This treaty is valid for the signing countries as long as at least two countries sign.
- The penalty for breaking this treaty is 50 prestige and 10 infamy.

The Tsar has not concerned himself with the American continent to much and his advisors are split over the usefulness of the Russian holdings in Alaska. However it is obvious, that the development of the Region is far from complete and large patches of the land remain uncolonised.
If the remaining land would be claimed by another nation, the Borders would prove to be a bizarre mess, such a thing has not only sparked confusion and conflict amongst settlers in the past but is also unsightly to behold.
We are eager to hear the US-Governments stance on the issue.

If this concerns the USA-UK border, both nations agreed in the latest great meeting of cartographers that the 49th parallel is a thing of beauty indeed.

If this is about the uncolonized parts of Alaska, the United States believe that it has no business intervening between the British and Russian parties unless there is an interest in selling the land.

The Russians are, of course, also welcome to participate in the treaty due to their Alaskan holdings.

The Spanish Government happily signs this treaty. The American Spaniards have decided on indépendance from Madrid and it is the duty of Spain to ensure all Spaniards have what they want.

Denmark wishes to inquire, that if Hostile invasion is void, would the rightful selling of land be allowed?

The Unites States renews this treaty.

(It still messes with my head when people use 'resign')
