I was in Europe at the beginning of the year - first time there - to visit the homeland (I live in Australia, and the homeland is Greece... and Cyprus) and me and the family made a stop off in London for a few days. Now, here i was figuring that London is such a dreary place in the winter that I was sure to find something scary... well, some of the shopkeepers were scary, but not quite the scary I was hoping for... When the folks said we were going to check out the Tower of London, I thought it was a shoe-in - that place has got to be one of THE most HAUNTED places in the world... you'd think... <_< (can I just say, this smiley - <_< - is great, and I have needed a smiley like this in other forums and have had no luck in finding anything close...) While the place was very eerie, even in the day, and while it rained on us, and even hailed a bit... I saw nothing... I was standing there, digital camera in hand, looking at EVERY window on every structure... and did I see a single ghostly figure? No... No ghosts, no poultergeists, no spirits, no lost souls... Has anybody out there, first off, been to the Tower of London, and have you seen anything scary? And secondly, have you ever been to a place you were sure you'd find a good scare in, only to have a perfect time there and see nothing scary worth remembering? I mean, I love a good scare, and yeah, I'll track one down if I can, but I found nothing at the one place I was sure I would...

I assure you I know where Chile is - I have a Chilean friend at Uni... I'm not one of those people who only know the country in which they live - but I ask if anybody here knows where Cyprus is, because when I say that I'm half Cypriot, most people don't even know what that means, let alone where Cyprus is... |

If you want to go to a place that's haunted come to Fort George at Niagara Falls. They had a ghost tour of the place at night and 66-70% of the tours have an encounter of some sort. |

Theres nothing scary in the US except Bush and homeless people. Once this homeless person started to bang on peoples windows at a stoplight. He then walked off mumbling...

Well, for the fiftyth time (Yeah, I'm really starting to annoy myself <_< ) perhaips if you're scared of something, and prefer not seeing it, you look it up and see it. But if you're fascinated by something supernatural, and don't intend to feel afraid at all, you see nothing. Though I posted stuff about people inmagioning things about fifty times, I seriously DO believe ghosts are out there. I just think some people think they see something, give the story a little bit more drama then it is and then post it here. Perhaips I'm wrong, but some just seem to be made up

Hahahaha, yeah...me and my friend (not my friend anymore, though) saw a runoff pipe in this small park near my house, and so we took flashlights and went pretty deep into it, until we hit the end. It was pretty lame...although, another time in that same park, we were biking on the path that was up this pretty steep hill, and we saw what looked like a cave or makeshift house on the opposite side of the valley. We went to investigate (which was REALLY hard, considering we had to cross this stupid stream, and millions of thorn bushes) and we never found it because as we got closer, it camouflaged itself behind all the shrubs and bushes. <_< |
