I was like 7 years old, sucking on a peppermint, and you know how you get the urge to just swallow sometimes? Well that happened, and the peppermint went too. Lodged in my throat, I swallowed and swallowed again, and it finallly went down - slowly.

All I got out of that was a sore throat. That was close enough for me.

bleh i had a car hit me like a T almost and i would have been fucked up luckily though the driver somehow missed me and pulled off the road.

I have been almost hit by many many cars.

I was getting christmas lights and the lightbulb broke and well i was trying to unscrew it and shocked myself.

having asthma as a child is a scary near death experiance.

most of these are little things

I don't think you guys get it :yfok: He means like... have you come closer to the afterlife, like the reports say where people, when they are close to dying, claime to have seen lights... and beings.

Those experiences are really rare, and I don't thinkthis topic would have got this many responces if I meant that.
I just meant: were you ever lucky to see the sunrise the next day.

The closest thing I've ever had to a near death experience is when I was put under anesthesia for surgery. I could feel my consiousness slipping away, but could do nothing to stop it. That's what I think death feels like.

When I was under, I remember thinking/dreaming something, but I don't remember what it was...maybe it was death... :gasp:

I was riding my 4-wheeler up a mountain in Colorado with my stepdad and it flipped on me due to the steepness. I was trapped under a quarter-ton 4-wheeler for about 20 minutes. Broke my collarbone.

Ouch. That'd suck. I almost did that when I was on a quad with my friends. Only thing is, the quad went up the hill, but I fell off, then rolled down the hill. Actually it was kinda fun... :bing:

The Bourne Identity was awful, I saw it on a plane. I would never see the sequal.

Finally! Someone agrees!
