Yeah I've hit the bottom plenty of times, but I wake up fine, sometimes I don't wake up then and the dream continues on about me falling off of a cliff. There is no pain, just a sudden lurch to the stomach ![]() message by Nodron_Simpleton Do not double post, and welcome to the forum OH yeah and welcome to the polls, I'm new too. Wish someone would respond to my topic... |

Yea I've had those dreams, but not too often. The whole "taking the stomach" thing is really there which sucks but one particular experience is kind of embarrasing to discuss.... It was off a skyscraper, and for some reason, my brain wanted me to land in a pile of stuffed mickey mouse dolls. Dont ask why. I guess I thought it was the softest thing I could think of at the time. |

Heh, you guys are lucky... I never wake up... I just lay there... bleeding... waiting for someone to find me... or sometimes I just bounce like a ragdoll oddly and stand back up...

I've also had the first-person/third-person ones, as soon as I hit bottom I'm always hovering above myself, and everything gets all etherial and blurry, and I wake up w/ the usual stomach-somewhere-above-my-head feeling. The wierdest one, though, was when I was walking down a hill in a dream and gravity seemed to look the other way. Suddenly i'm a few hundred feet in the air and i'm skydiving (skyfalling? dunno what it's called w/o a parachute) and SMACK. Rather odd, seeing as I wasn't on any kind of precipice or anything. BTW first post wuwu.

ah , the privilege of lucid dreaming. I just stop in the air when I'm falling, and start flying.

While some of us dont have the gift of lucid dreaming, including myself, these dreams end up one of two ways for me: ( a ) I wake up hitting the ground from falling off my bed. or ( b ) I hit in the dream, but survive because the neck of my most hated enemy broke the fall. or ( c )I land on a small furry animal [such as a oversized gerbial] also breaking my fall. |

I have falling dreams all the time, and when I wake up, I feel my bed move as though I've fallen onto it. Maybe I float when I'm asleep... |

Yeah, I always hurt when I fall in dreams. Don't know why, but usually I'm falling off a doorstep, and it feels like I've fallen from that height. |
