When I was little, I used to be an avid dreamer. Right up until I turned about thirteen. From then on I've known that I dream, but I can never remember the dreams, or just remember very trivial things about them. It's a whole nother world, but I feel completely cut off from it. Has anyone ever had this problem or know a way for me to begin remembering again? |

I've also heard that diet can actually aid in remembering what your dreams are. I could be just recalling someone's B.S. though. |

Hmm... What do you mean by meditation? Does that mean going out somewhere by yourself and get away from it all? |

I took a psychology class in high school. One thing is you are probably sleeping too deeply. The dreams you remember occur in the first sleep level and sometimes the second level. You're not hitting level 5, since you can remember that you do in fact dream. How much sleep do you usually get a night? Also, in your waking moments you can remember your dreams better. I'd suggest getting a notepad and writing down what you can remember when you wake up. |

I can practically count on my hands the number of dreams I've remembered when waking. In my entire life. Don't know why. They're always really fucked up or scary when i do remember them. |

One time... I didn't really dream AT ALL! Well... I know I did, but it was like this. I blinked... and it was bright and my brother was getting dressed, my eye was coming up slower, and I didn't feel like I normally do (that wake upy feeling). Nothing happened. I just blinked and the whole night went by. Has that ever happened to you? |

That's happened to me once when I was a kid. I just put my head down on my pillow, and my mom came and told me it was time to get up for school. I honestly thought she was pulling a prank on me, but it turned out that she wasn't. |

I remember one time when I was really young... too young for first grade... maybe even school, I went to sleep and woke up. It was kinda dark. That really confused me. Most of the time it's sunny when I wake up. So, I go downstairs and see my family eating dinner. I'm not sure what happened after that, but I was really confused. It turns out I was either napping and thought it was actually pretty late, or I just didn't sleep that long. |

I absolutely hate it when that happens. I think that happes due to lack of sleep, though. It happened years ago when I was trying to spend the whole night awake, and I was looking at the digital clock. One blink, and it was two hours ahead. I think I may be wrong, though I think I remember there being 5, the highest being the most comatose state. It is incredibly deep where you won't dream at all. |
