to stop the movie playing, select the frame on which you would like the movie to stop, then press F9 to open the Actions panel. here's a little-known shortcut: click anywhere in the Actions panel and now press the following keys in sequence: Esc, S, T a stop action appears in the actions panel. to add a play action, press: Esc, P, L Enjoy the new script/code forums

hey cool section.....I have a question about preloaders to....How do you or do you know where I can download a preloader that has a progress bar in it that i can look at? I'm getting to the point now where i can look at the work involved and kinda soak it all in to do my own.. Thanks in advance

Yeah, there's an open source one on Newgrounds. Lemme find it. Oh, BTW, if you want something, like something that tells you the bytes or percetile, PM me and I'll set it up. http://newgrounds.com/flash/ Lots of good links. Preloader, SIMPLE FPS, movement in FPS, etc. Also, Actionscript.org has some awesome ones. |
