Post suggestions of what you'd like us to create here. We'll take those suggestions and make tutorials for them. Cheers.

For Example:

Member: I'd like to know how to use iFrames.
Mod/member who knows something: Okay. [tutorial] (If member, post in this topic later. If Mod, create a new topic. Hahaha, We're SPECIAL!)

Yeah, and BTW, I didn't steal this from Synj.net - I PMed Synj asking him to make a suggestion thread. He listened. Go check the first page of the AS suggestion thread.)

Cheers
- The Actionscript and Web Development team

I'll sticky this later.

No idea, MySQL and PHP aren't in my range of knowledge. I know friend how may be able to help, but, to save time, take a look here, if it doesn't help, look around the site, if THAT doesn't help, support forums:

.tar is an archive file like .zip
All the files you need are inside of it, just open it up with WinZip and place all the files in their correct places.

Thoes languages are really not too hard to learn. SQL is the harder of the two in my opinion.

Oh, and like noted, a .tar is basically the zip file for linux. Winzip supports them though.

I heard, never had the time to learn them, though.

I'm planning on learning PL/SQL - which, as I've heard from my dad (who programs in it at oracle [who developed it]) is the best language.

I tried that, but than I had to screw with mySQL values, and I got completly lost there. Also the site said that you may not open the tar if you want to apply the skin :worry:

I have XP Pro, how do I set up an active server and what is it for? Im thinking its for hosting your files by using your computer as a server (it only works when ur comp is on). Am I right?

And I wish to change the color of the standard cursor for a webpage Im developing, can I use javascript for this or will I have to make a new cursor by creating a .cur file? If so, how do I make a .cur file?

Theres a challenge for yas ;)

Yes -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components -> Click Internet Information Services (IIS) -> Click Details -> Choose what you want -> Read the documentation after installation.

Make your own cursors and tutorial:
http://www.anicursor.com/tutorial.html

No there is no code for changing it naturally. But to display using css it's
Code:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
body {cursor: url('cursor.ani');}
a {cursor: url('cursor.ani');}
-->
</style>

to slap it in the body tag it's

<BODY style="CURSOR: url('cursor.ani')">

If anybody needs to know anything about PHP/MySQL, add my MSN (or PM me, but MSN would get you a response faster) and I'll see if I can answer your question.

I run GMResources (Game Maker Resources) http://www.gm-resources.com
