hello everyone just logged on to this forumn and i am very impressed with adam phillips flash work but anyways thats besides the point. I know a little about flash and i have the trial so im just experimenting with it. I was wondering if i should buy that package for 70 bux that includes flash mx(not 2004) and other things listed here I dont know if its as good as the newest one but all i do is simple animations. Also i have downloaded tutorials and the such for flash help but i need to learn more, can anyone list some good flash tutorials? Anything would be great and i look forward to post on this site! |

Hi dream, welcome to Brackenwood
I've used 2004 once, then went stright back to MX, theres a few changes, but MX is all you need to make a decent animation or whatever other project you decide to work on
Good luck with your experiments, can't wait to see some on here

Yeah, like i say, 2004 has some nice tweaks but MX is decent enough (Especially if your new to it) plus the tutorials in it are infinately boring but do actually teach you something....maybe lol Good luck

Software from that back up site isn't lagit... it's a bit like downloading it off kazaa or somewhere... you have the program... but you don't have a user lisence... so it's illegal. |

if you wanna try Flash without spending too much, I suggest buying an early version (4 or 5) first. This will help you learn the basics. A friend of mine bought Flash 4 on ebay for about $40 (I think). The animation tools in the ealier version of Flash are pretty much the same as they are now in FlashMX2004. The improvements in each new version so far are mostly focused on application development and workflow (interface customisability) good luck
