whenever I am doing a scene that I know might lag on a slow computer, I put the following on the timeline:I usually make it switch to LOW quality whenever there's a camera move (notice when the prowlie puts the stone on the other one's head, you see the quality change when the camera is moving). When the camera stops moving, I've switched back to HIGH quality. |

Personally I think the word 'slection' is wonderful.
Sorry for off topic, but it is.. |

Hey Adam, Prowlies was great, but the auto-quality thing really bugged me. Switching from high to medium is hardly noticable, but switching from medium to low is extremely noticable. I ran it on Auto-Quality since my computer is only medium powered, but I was hoping for 2 Auto-quality settings. One regular one, which only switches between medium and high, and one extreme one, which switches between all three. I don't mind too much though if you don't do that. I'll just watch it on medium always. |

thanks for the suggestion .. glad you liked the movie too. I think medium quality is a good middle-ground. Auto quality is designed for real crap computers, so I'm sorry that it's noticeable. Of course when I put the movie on DVD all the quality changes won't be necessary. |
