Optimizing Drawings; HELP!

i've been lookin' and i can't find anything that fully describes how to optimize your drawings...someone please help

If you're using Flash MX 2004*, select your drawing then go to Modify > Shape > Optimize...

move the slider to optimize more or less. Also experiment with the 'Use Multiple Passes' box checked and unchecked. Of course, using multiple passes optimizes more.




*If you're using Flash MX or Flash 5, it's Modify > Optimize...

You can optimise your drawing while you're making it by selecting parts and pressing the 'smooth' or 'straighten' buttons on the main tool bar.

Or you can use the sub select (white) arrow tool thingie and select and remove vectors from pen or brush outlines.

hey, thanks, but it doesn't work for some reason...so you know, i drew these on paper then scaned them onto the computer

you mihgt want to trace the bmp pic and then compress it.


goto modify, and chose bitmap, and themn trace bit map.
That should work

bmp is too much use jpeg

optimize you will be told by thirsty is different. It reduces the file without changing much of the file as but smooth changes the appearance without shrinking the size
