now character john titor, wheter he is real or not. a time traveler or someone just trying to make money is quite interesting.

He speaks of wars, and other things that have happened and are yet to happen.

someone on this forum was wondering about a time traveler, this is the biggest one on the net.

I can't personally say I believe in him, or not...could all be BS, but I often go to his website that is hosted by a follower of some kind to read about his post and theories, and things that he has proven wrong..

take some time and read into his stuff if u havent already, its amusing at a minimum.

www.johntitor.com

(post any replies about it here)

I'am new to the forum!!!! great website here! :bing:

All sounds quite intriguing. I've never given time travel much thought, I just thought it would always be science fiction. I've read some of his posts... it's quite well thought up if it's fiction, I am skeptical though... a war in 2015 where 3 billion people die, sounds scary :S

If you read into some stuff, when he asked about the future...and how people will have changed. some of his predictions have been true....he has talked extensively about worm holes and time travel theories that the leading people of today like steven hawkin (dont know if thats spelled right) are talking about. he actually proved one of his theories wrong.

he says that the war will be apparent and at your front door by 2008, it will be something like a war between common people and the government.

eventually the people will prevail, at this time other countries will go into their own wars, he says the arab nations will use nuclear weapons againts israel. not againts U.S.

He claims that people will be more isolated, more towns and communities....there wont be big cities anymore, there is definetely technology, just not so broad.

the internet plays a big role in the future, its a main source of communication.

music will change dramatically, there is more emphasis on people who play their on instruments, thats what will be popular during and after the war.

JOHN TITOR AND THE IBM 5100 COMPUTER

The stated reason John was here in our time was to obtain an IBM computer built in 1975 called a 5100. The 5100 does exist and was manufactured and sold by IBM. It is historically remembered as one of the first portable computers ever mass-produced but it arrived before computers were marketed to the public and quickly passed away in the early eighties.

John claimed he was related to one of the IBM engineers or programmers who worked on the 5100 and that's why he was chosen for this mission. By putting the pieces of his posts together, it appears he journeyed to Rochester Minnesota in 1975 (where the 5100 was created and manufactured), met with his relative who worked on the computer, obtained a 5100 from him and had it altered in some way for use in 2036.

John mentions that the 5100 had some sort of inbuilt ability to translate computer languages that was unknown or unpublished before 2036. The computer would then have been used back in his time to translate or fix broken computer systems.

Based on his explanation, it would appear there must have been an easier way to solve this problem in 2036. If you can travel in time, why go back for a piece of old technology that we find useless? This may seem logical until you realize that even today, NASA scours the Internet looking for old computer parts to keep their systems running.

What may be more interesting is the fact that John had a consistent reason he was willing to discuss for being here at all. (this computer is real and a very specific one) I pasted this from the website.

Like I said, im not a follower. but it interested me, to where ive read just about everything just out of curiosity.

What event started the war? Can it be stopped?

The war is a result of faulty politics and desperation from Western
leadership during the US civil war. Yes, I suppose you could stop it.

He gives some things we , everyone could do to prepare ourselves...I cant find them right now, gotta go do something..maybe ill post it later tonight

AH I found it, here is what he says about preparing yourself.

its on the john titor website under the POST tab on the left. (all the post that he made)

Can you tell us the foods that are unsafe now? Is there anything we can do to prepare for the war you are describing?

I tried to consolidate your questions into a basic list. I hope this helps.

1. Do not eat or use products from any animal that is fed and eats parts of its own dead.
2. Do not kiss or have intimate relations with anyone you do not know.
3. Learn basic sanitation and water purification.
4. Be comfortable around firearms. Learn to shoot and clean a gun.
5. Get a good first aid kit and learn to use it.
6. Find 5 people within 100 miles that you trust with your life and stay in contact with them.
7. Get a copy of the US Constitution and read it.
8. Eat less.
9. Get a bicycle and two sets of spare tires. Ride it 10 miles a week.
10. Consider what you would bring with you if you had to leave your home in 10 min. and never return.

This is also a good view into john world, and what they think of our time now.

JOHN TITOR AND HIS WAR

What are your memories of 2036?

I remember 2036 very clearly. It is difficult to describe 2036 in detail without spending a great deal of time explaining why things are so different.

In 2036, I live in central Florida with my family and I'm currently stationed at an Army base in Tampa. A world war in 2015 killed nearly three billion people. The people that survived grew closer together. Life is centered on the family and then the community. I cannot imagine living even a few hundred miles away from my parents.

There is no large industrial complex creating masses of useless food and recreational items. Food and livestock is grown and sold locally. People spend much more time reading and talking together face to face. Religion is taken seriously and everyone can multiply and divide in their heads.

Life has changed so much over my lifetime that it's hard to pin down a "normal" day. When I was 13, I was a soldier. As a teenager, I helped my dad haul cargo. I went to college when I was 31 and I was recruited to "time travel" shortly after that. Again, I suppose an average day in 2036 is like an average day on the farm.

There is a civil war in the United States that starts in 2005. That conflict flares up and down for 10 years. In 2015, Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States (which is the "other side" of the civil war from my perspective), China and Europe. The United States counter attacks. The US cities are destroyed along with the AFE (American Federal Empire)...thus we (in the country) won. The European Union and China were also destroyed. Russia is now our largest trading partner and the Capitol of the US was moved to Omaha Nebraska.

One of the biggest reasons why food production is localized is because the environment is affected with disease and radiation. We are making huge strides in getting it cleaned up. Water is produced on a community level and we do eat meat that we raise ourselves.

After the war, early new communities gathered around the current Universities. That's where the libraries were. I went to school at Fort UF, which is now called the University of Florida. Not too much is different except the military is large part of people's life and we spend a great deal of time in the fields and farms at the "University" or Fort.

The Constitution was changed after the war. We have 5 presidents that are voted in and out on different term periods. The vice president is the president of the senate and they are voted separately.

Why is time travel used?

Right now, its used to get information or "items" that would be helpful in getting a post WWIII world back to a normal condition.

I am here for personal reasons. For a few months now, I have bee trying to alert anyone that would listen to the possibility of a civil war in the United States in 2005. Does that seem more likely now? Actually it's quite amazing to see what's happening. I have been trying to get people to pay attention for the last few months but to see it unfold is very interesting. Before I leave, I'll try and post my report.

You assume I am here to start a war?

Consider this: You are a time traveler who wishes to go back in time to 1941 because your grandparents live close to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. You realize you can't stop the war but you may be able to help them prepare for it. Strangely, December 7th comes and goes with no sneak attack. As the war in Europe rages on, Japan fails to join the axis power, there is no war in the Pacific and the United States remains neutral. Then, you watch as Germany begins to develop the atomic bomb… all by themselves.

For a change, I have a question for all of you. I want you to think very hard. What major disaster was expected and prepared for in the last year and a half that never happened?

As far as war goes, I have faith you are quite capable of starting one all by yourself. I am hard pressed to accept any criticism on my outlook on that subject. Growing up might have been a vastly different experience for me than it was for most of you. Personal responsibility, determination, honor, friendship and self-reliance are not just words we try to live up to or fantasize about.

On my worldline, life is not easy. We live in a world recovering from years of war, poison, destruction and hate. All of it, courtesy of the thinking and actions of people that live right now in the same world you do, worrying about which stocks to buy or whether or not a stranger is lying to them on the Internet.

I believe that hardship and challenge develop character and community. My first experience with war came when I joined a shotgun infantry unit at the age of thirteen. In the 4 years I served as a "rebel", I watched hundreds of people get shot, burn and bleed to death. I know exactly where I was and every detail of the exact moment the first nuclear warheads began falling on Jacksonville. I know the pain and regret of not acting soon enough to enjoy a relationship as a loved one dies of brain cancer from a war that gained nothing.

How can you possibly criticize me for any conflict that comes to you? I watch every day what you are doing as a society. While you sit by and watch your Constitution being torn away from you, you willfully eat poisoned food, buy manufactured products no one needs and turn an uncaring eye away from millions of people suffering and dying all around you. Is this the "Universal Law" you subscribe to?

Perhaps I should let you all in on a little secret. No one likes you in the future. This time period is looked at as being full of lazy, self-centered, civically ignorant sheep. Perhaps you should be less concerned about me and more concerned about that.

Imagine you are Jewish and you are able to travel back in time to Germany in 1935. All around you are the patterns of thinking and action that will lead to a great deal of harm, death and destruction in just a few years. You have the advantage of knowing what will come but no one will listen to you. In fact, they think you're insane and the situations you describe could never happen.

What I feel is not anger, it is sadness that you cannot see what I see.

9. Get a bicycle and two sets of spare tires. Ride it 10 miles a week.
10. Consider what you would bring with you if you had to leave your home in 10 min. and never return.

It all makes you think doesnt it? even if its all complete BS, it could just be some angry very smart individual who is trying to tell something to society.

but if this john came from the future, he must be born by now, and that kid/or whatever must have the same genetic things as this john. If john really comes from the future, he must already have known that he would travel to the past when he heard about old john.

supposebly john, wheter thats his name or not. is alive right now as a young boy in florida, and the future john has made contact with his mother and has been staying at her house. as far as anyone can tell he left, and will be back on some date...(I dont remember)

His mother made a small book, and on the website there are pictures of his time machine, a corvette with all kinds of machinery in it, show a laser bending during time travel, john says it was the instructor teaching him about it. (who knows)

I see no mention of the Flux Capacitor.

There can be no time travel without such a device!

;)

Edit: Damnit Markham. Did you JUST edit your above post to mention the flux capacitor? Or did I just miss it the first time? O_o

I did edit it right after I posted it, so you must have been posting your post the same time I was editing mine.

Also, I wonder if this John Titor guy was ever pulled over or speeding. :D

 , the web of time cant be changed, the fate of this world is already writen and it not must be changed at all, if that war is coming, it must be done. knowing the exact future its dangerous and if its true, the time stream must not be altered by any cost, that war must be done, just like the other 2

But the future is still unknown to us. If he is from the future, there is a possibility that he needed to go back in time to make sure that we didn't go to war because there wasn't a war in his timeline.

simple, if there is an alteration in the web of time, a whole new time paradox happens, all the recent events are driving our world into a whole new war, all the acts and events from the past bounce in the present and projects into the future, if that time stream is altered, the web of time shall be shattered and a new present is remade making a whole new future far distant than ours

MAJOR VIRUS PREDICTED BY TITOR"

the CJD virus, its a MAD COW disease virus that kills humans....over 1000 people in australia are under heavy risk of getting it...it seems to be spreading.

john titor claims that in his own time, there is no known cure...and this disease kills hundreds of thousands of people. right now its starting small..

(the the disease he talks about is fact, we know that much)

My research shows the following.

CJD can be obtained from coming into contact with medical tools that were used on CJD patients.

CJD is a virus that attacks your brain, people die within 1 year of the disease
coming to surface.

There is no test available to find out if you have it.

The disease can be inherited, and can stay dormant from 30 to 40 years before surfacing.

John titor spoke about not eating animals that consume their own dead.

This is what the CJD scientist are now thinking might be a possible way to spread the disease. Infected cows, chicken, pig.......because in certain places, cows bones are used to make a gelatin to feed chickens and pigs.

There is no cure for the disease, only ways to make your more comfortable before you die from it.

John speaks of the rapid spread of the disease, he says people now are careless meat consumers who dont think about how their food products are made, and how deadly harmful they will become.

Scientist say that there could be people harboring CJD right now, in their youth and it wont surface till later. (this is very dangerous and could lead to the worldwide apademic of a large percentage of 1 generation being infected with it all the sudden) since there is no way of detecting it right now.

The disease can be trasmitted via-blood transfutions.

Only a full brain operation in which they take tissue samples from you (which is a high-risk procedure) could determine if you have it. even then they might not get the tissue from an infected area.

John states that the there is war in his lifetime...

there a 2.5% difference between his time and ours.

He claims that is enough to chance our history, but not his.

he predicts even with what we know, it is doubtful we will change our world timeline and the war will happen regardless.

He creates an example to demonstrate how it wouldnt make a difference and how it could be worse if the war doesnt happen.

From (www.johntitor.com one of his post from many questions he was asked while he was here)

So in my opinion, not even he can stop the war...all he can do is warn people, he isnt an alien, or someone with all kinds of facts and knowledge about our future, there is nothing he could say to make us believe in him....he is human, doesnt know anything any more then you would. except for his time traveling and knowledge of his world.

He was asked once to predict a sporting event.

his response was, if any of us now..in 2000-2004 had the ability to time travel, and went back to 1923 (lets say) would we be able to predict when it was going to rain next, or who was gonna be the next town leader? anything they would ask. of course we wouldnt be able to, we arent scholars or teachers, we would be specifically time travelers, our knowledge would be centered around that...some important knowledge of the past and our time line. (which is exactly all john knows.

(assuming he is real)

Mad cow was known by many people back when he made the prediction. We have known it can't be destroyed, because it is not a virus. It's an enzyme that eats up your brain. He didn't predict anything about that, other than they won't have a cure in 2036.

Why worry about it? If it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. But if people were going to go back in time, why not try to change this rather bleak future? Any change you made, no matter how small, would affect the future somehow, so why not do something big?

It's interesting that I find no mention of Canada through all of this. I wonder why he's said nothing about that big stretch of open space between the U.S. and the north pole.

But we don't know what the time stream is. For all we know, in 2036 there could have been no wars at all and we acheived world peace and then I go back in time, claim to be this John Titor person, and tell everyone there will be a civil war and a WW3 even though there never will be.

I think we can all agree sigfried is eagerly awaiting the revolution!

I think if for some reason this war was to happen, it would be because of things like the patriot act, people will start feeling extremely violated.

taking fingerprints at airports, having the right to take your guns away.

being compared to terrorist, referred to as domestic terrorist.

searches without warrants, the police becoming the military.

the military always talks about using new non-lethal weapons againts americas threads, when in reality they are talking about you. You really think that special ops are gonna drop down in africa and pepper spray the shit out of some guys in the dark?

these weapons are build to keep the average american at bay, the police and military are better armed and resourced then we are.

our fore-fathers created the 2nd amendment to allow us the freedom to bring down our own government when justice is not being served.

because if you remember, when america was created thats what happened. they were aware that just because it was america, it didnt mean that the government will forever be wonderful, and great and just and fair. they will not always be looking out for your best interest. It shouldnt be the people serving the government.....their jobs are suppose to be kept to a controlled minimum.

remember those western families that lived in a village somewhere in the past? they could fend for themselves just fine. then along came the U.S government one day. telling them all the reasons why they should sign a piece of paper, and whats the benefits of taxes......everything that you have to deal with now.

now your life is run by money, you wake up everyday miserable, except for the 1 or 2 things you get to enjoy for a few hours a day if that. look at all these mega companies, the insurance company which I think is one of the worst things ever created...........they just take your money, if u dont get in an accident ever, they just keep it.

the people in on it, thinking they are better. make cars that break down on purpose, overcharge t fix it, make poor food products, remind you when its time to get a new much better car...all improved, and it has no difference between itself and the older version from the previous year.

"We can build a car that will last forever, but wheres the profit in that?"

prices of things keep rising, and there is no reason for it. you dont make anymore...you dont get anymore.

you know what a business class major said to me about inflation?

"It doesnt matter what the prices are, we could have the same prices from the 1930's now, and nothing would change, the reason prices rise from well known companies that will always be in business is because something called "greed"

(politics) we dont even have a choice about that, less and less people vote....the only 2 or 4 options you have to choose are never any good...more like choosing the lesser of the evils.

True america doesnt exist, you may think you are free. but just notice how many things are restricted in your daily life, and older family members.

how much freedom do you actually have? people are the who is to blame for the way things are, media (people) brainwash the rest of the population, thinking whats hip...what to buy, what to think.

we are being kept in a very tight noose that probably noone realises.

so whats my opinion about another civil war?

I want it to happen I can taste it, even if I were to die....at least all of the bad things about our times and society would be brought back down to basics and rebuild for the better.

"Its just like when the lights go out in your neighborhood, people talk to each other, you feel more alive, care about others everyone comes out of their cages"

exactly, it seems that you have read my mind, of course i want a north american civil war to change the world order, but its not enough, a full scale global war its nesecesary to achieve a new age, then after the mayhem a natural process of balance shall began with the natural selection of evolution, something like washing the plate before puting the newly cooked food, and the events from the near past are reacting in this present projecting a great war in the future, thats why the web of time must not be changed at all, it must maintain until the end

Everything stagnates in time. Nothing lasts forever, especially governments. They're either overthrown by so-called 'rebels', or they crash under the weight of their own opulence. Just look at the Roman Empire. That is what the United States has become. It started out with the best of intentions, but now the entire culture has stagnated to the point where 60% of the people are overweight, crime rates have risen to extreme levels, and no one seems to care that their government has become a group of bickering children. Why don't the American people change this? Complacency.
