I need to know how to make a picture in a flash swf file can be changed without opening the fla! There must be a script so i could change what picture was currently in the flash file?> It's like linking to text in totepad but with a picture! Please help! |

It can be done
:lol: and as a matter of fact, i've done this in the www.brockenweed.com characters section, check it out. I can help you, but there are a few things i'd need to know and you'd need to set up. I do plan on making a tutorial of this one day, but I will give you help asap if you need it, mk?

yeay first post! umm make a text file, in it put this, call the file ... pics.txt
then in flash to load mypic.jpg from a button click:
_root.somePicHolder being the movieclip that is going to be replaced by the loaded jpg.. hope that worked for ya! Mike |
