It may be a little faster/shorter to completely skip the final "uh." Either on all multi-syllable words, or maybe on just 3-syllable and longer ones. So for instance, the sample sentence, l sld dts m ft ltt, would be pronounced either "la solud dotus mi fat latut" or "la solud dotus mi fatuh latut." Adds a little more variety to the sound, I think, and keeps it from being monotonous. It also makes it so that srs is pronounced "Sorus," much closer to Sarus. |

Close but not really
Try this: Say "La soluhduh dotuhs mi fat latuht" and "La soluhd dotuhs mi fatuht" The first one sounds like "L sld dts m ft ltt" where the second is "L sl dts m ft ltt" because the D's are pronounced together in quickened speech. So if a word ends with letter "X" and the following word begins with letter X, then the first and second letter X are both annunciated. Also, if you have a single word (D,R,M, etc) then they are also fully pronounced. Does this make sense? Remember: you don't have to shorten anthing. Saying "La soluhduh dotuhsuh mi fatuh latuhtuh" is perfectly fine. |

In fact, yesterday I wrote almost exactly that on the Sarus site.. you been there yet Laroon? I'm not sure where the Sarus site builder has got to.. I haven't heard from him for weeks, so I'm thinking of just posting the link here soon. |

I'd be up for the Skype lessons sometime. I really love everything you've done, Mr. Phillips. I'm working on learning Soreso, and I have a week off from school coming up, so that'll be something to do between art projects. I've already put some color sequences into my latest piece. This is my first forum post, so I don't know quite how to end this post fluidly, so I'll just stop now. |

welcome to the forum! Thanks for the comments on Sarus too, and I hope you enjoy learning it. The dedicated Sarus site will be released soon, so I'll post a message here when that happens. I'd like to see your finished artwork with the Sarus weaved into the colours, if you're ok to show it here

it's actually Ween lyrics, from a song called 'Back to Basom' on the 'White Pepper' album. It's in my top 10 of all time fav songs. to answer your other question 4n0n7m0u5, the new movie... hmm. I predict it will be out before the end of May hehehe. I'm not setting a date for it, because last time that happened (on littleFoot) I almost died from work overload and lack of sleep. This time I'm going to finish the movie, then announce the release date. I'll post a preview on this site before I upload to NG
