I just got flash the other day and I made an animation. But there is one problem, HOW DO YOU ADD A PLAY BUTTON?! I would like for someone to give me the script I have to enter so I can copy and paste it.

Type in some text eg play then click on it and press F8 click on button and name it something. Then enter this code in its actions (F9)
And where it says 'enterframehere' type in the frame you want it to go to |

or you could just go:
And if you're wondering how to add code to a button, you need to select the button first, then press F9... otherwise you might accidentally add the code to the frame instead of the button. |

Look at the actionscript part of the forums and look at 'Tutorial 1' |

Well, I suggest you download NG's preloader, and start playing around with it in order to truly understand how it works and stuff, it's a simple one. Not too much details, simple actionscripting. I reccomend you download it and learn from it. Or you could just add a "stop" to your frame 1, and a "Play" button on it with the actionscript that you have seen above. |

If it "plays" to fast then as alex said add
And then add a play button. I say go to Vector's tutorial, that way you understand WHATs going on, and its easier to make it into however you want it to be
