I'm in this dream where I'm running away from I-don't-know-what on a beach. There are crows and mynah birds everywhere, and when they come near, I hastily try to shoo 'em away. Suddenly, as I run, a crow seems to have flown on my arm. I stare at it for.. five seconds... and freak out . I then look forward and see a path that leads to a corner. I turn to the path, and wake up.What the hell did this dream mean?
(Now I look around, and those birds seem to be everywhere..) |

Well...what the dream means depends on your point of view. There are various theories as to what meaning is hidden in dreams. From a Freudian perspective, your dream means that there is something in your life that you have to face, something painful. The colour black usually means that whatever you're running from is particularly bad, and the fact that it is a scavenging animal tells me it is eating away at you. The path is the way out, and that you woke up when you got onto the path means you should not try to escape from the situation. You have to plow through the cloud of crows and take the pecks. Freud would tell you to suck it up and face whatever it is you have to face. On the other hand, I think it was just a bunch of random memories that your mind turned into a story to keep from getting too confused.

Just give the dream birds some dream Alka-seltzer tablets. They'll leave you alone.

i have an old book about dreams' and from your dream i think that you are about to come to a cross roads in your life and one of the ways is quite obvouse you and the other ( the corner) unknown the Crow grabing your arm i beleive is said to be guiding you to the path you most likely wouldn't follow. the crow could very well be a friend of yours telling you to come to a party or some other same such nature/ never now you could meet someone special or the opposite |

I've thought about this dream carefully... and I wasn't able to distinguish any sexual identity crisis innuendos from it. <_< I'd say the Freudian perspective Tordeck mentioned is nearest to the mark. |

I've had dreams where I've run away from stuff, and I'm not gay. <_< The last one I've had I was runing away form a guy with a shotgun. If a guy was going to shoot you, you'd run away, wouldn't you? (actuall,y when I woke up, I was really dissapointed because the last dream I had with people wanting to shoot me I had the ability to grab the muzzles of their guns and bend them out of shape single-handedly. THAT dream was cool!) |
