ok, yes i know there is a fire tutorial on the site already but im wondering if anyone could "dumb it up" for me, i need help drawing the fire in the first place, im not sure where to start or how i could animate it right. If u havent guessed im not that good at flash but im learning, so if anyone would be willing to help that would be great. |

ok, heres how I startedworking on my fire effect,you see the tutorial. and how it has the next frame button. pick any frame and draw something like it, then hit next and draw the next frame like it. That way you have a swf referance to look at for further use ( if you just use the one you copied, well then it will look identical, so go over afterwards and make a newer one ) * this is just how I did it , if anyone know a simpler way to learn how to animate fire, please tell me * |

sorry I didn't get to this thread earlier, but Tordeck's right anyway. It's hard to explain how to draw fire.. just like it's hard to explain how to draw water splashes. There are many different styles (realistic, cartoony, anime, etc) but the best way to learn is by looking frame-by-frame at some fire that you like, and trying to copy it. Keep the basic principles in mind all the while and eventually, with practice you'll develop your own style. Good luck! |
