to nurbs: sorry if this seems a little late, but can i make a suggestion? i found that with ur clouds, they look as if they are resting against a pane of glass, so to speak, like when u press ur hand against a window it flattens parts of it, know what i mean. some of the areas look flat so rounding them all of may add to the 3D of it all. if that is what comlock implied i apologise. i just noticed that meslef and thought id throw it out there, to maybe help u visualise ur problem a bit better, but other than that i think its bleeding great. really intriguing mood to it. to bussman: u need to blend ur colours more, and u need smoother lines, its too messy. to master[size=1]b8[/size]rade: not bad mate. u are developing ur style. i think smoother lines wud look better. |

awesome painting nurbs, really great concept.. mm yeah comlock is right about the back towers and maybe you can improve the clouds, add some more shades and more lights, make it smoother and less blur.. but damm that great concept!

Ok that last one that I made looks crappy so I remade it and fix the nose. It did look kinda nutty.
:lol: bodot, even if you were just messing around. It looks cool.  Here is the remade. What do you guys think. I think the eye can be better but I cant seem to draw anything better.

Nice master, Im working on a little painting thing in Sketchbook Pro, I think its gonna turn out pretty cool ,I actually feel like Im getting better! I cant wait till its finished so I can show you guys! Edit* the airbrush of his hair could of been a little more precise... |

Thanks Bussman. I wish I could use my Sketchbook Pro a little longer. I have only one day left. I hardley even use it till now.  Well iam gona make some use of it while I can. Good luck on your work Bussmen. I cant wait to see it.

Ok well after a couple revisions and what nots this little thing i made is complete! Its a beaver sorta creature with like porcupine hair, I dont kno, it just happened like this... Anyways, Special thanks to Colesif for major help and Mr.Nurbs and Ranoka for their crits as well The basic thing i was going for was to get better at my painting skills (seeing as in I havent done anything of signifigance for some time now) and I feel that I did i pretty good job shading and painting it in, although unlike master (Dave, Comlock, Anghen and others i cant think off the top of my head) i make mistakes so please point out anything that you see wrong so that i can pay attention and fix in further pieces So without further adooooo here it is...  - Bussman |

It looks like that you Blur it a little to much at the bottom. Over all I dont care . It looks so Dam Cute!  Its like some typ of Hamster with fluffy fur! I want to hug it and hug it and hug it some more.Dam it Bussman. Look w hat you did. You brought out my girlyside of me. Now every one thinks iam not straight :lol: Yet I see what you mean. I like how you use the strokes of paint and the use of color and contrest as well the texture. I cant tell what it is, but the way how you made it gives us a bunch of idea's. Very well done. Better then I was hoping for. Good job Bussmen. Can some one crit this.

Iam just glad that there are more on the way. Keep up the painting Bussman. Your doing great. Let me know when your next work of art comes out. I wonder, how do you paint so well. Are you using a some other software beside's Sketchbook Pro.

Nope, its just Sketchbook pro.... Ya see, I just looked at how Dave did his, (he uses sketchbook for a lot of his stuff) and i basically 'copied' it in the fact that i wanted mine to look like his (because they are so beautiful) and anyways, Im feeling like im really starting to get the hand of it! Dont think iam gona go easy on you. Since you getting good at this and better then me. Iam gona rise the crit bar. Lets start with his legs. Their kinda short for his long troso. I like everything about it. Its great. Great great great. Still iam not sure what esle to crit on. Tne texture and contrest is well done. Maybe to well. |

Thanks Rade. Come to think of it, the legs are pretty small, but eh, its not like it takes away from the character does it?
Yea, well guess what! I can stand like that, lol. But I get what your saying... I just need practice thats it, (this is my 2nd Sketchbook Character Drawing) so yea ... The anatomy and body setup and all that I can worry about later, what im really interested in is what parts of the creature need to be 'painted' better? Im mainly focusing on how well the painting is. Anything with that part that needs improving? |

Still for your second try using Sketchbook pro for the first time. Your doing great.
