The Token Black Guy Posts: 3,141 Group: Brackenites Member #363 Joined: September 13, 2004	any artist no matter how much of their pro status is a complete ass if that don't take ideas,especially if there name is Adam Phillips hahaha, prepares for banning :lol: No i think feedback is great,the exposed spine idea is somethin i already had in mind,i want him to look really wierd...so i might have to make his waist even thinner,so u can like see his pelvic bones.-actually nah,ten it would look too much like evangelion if u or anyone else has ideas for the character feel free to gimme input,maybe i shud but his heart on the outside for added WTF? factor.

How about exposed tendons in areas.Kind of a bit of a mechanical almost look.Like H.R.GIGER's stuff maybe? Any hints as to the story?or is it a secret :lol: :lol:

Posts: 457 Group: Brackenites Member #1,187 Joined: May 8, 2005	excellent as always some very angular brush strokes there man, really makes him look strong and stuff, i think that background may need some work, it just looks kinda sketchy and well mabye you should use the same kind of clean precise lines with your background elements so your characters better suit the enviroment? I dunno try and treat the buildings and the roads with the same attention to detail as warsow! .

Lol the flour sack reminds me of on cartoons when you see the turkey walking around,With the turkey drumsticks and no head and stuff.hmm,maybe some more shading around the edges to make him look more 3 dimentional?Or maybe a faint stamped flour sign on him/her/it?

I didn't mean for it to... but it ended up looking like me, so I drew on a baggy plaid suit and a giant pencil. there were some other doodles there, but i photoshopped 'em out. I can spot 2 things wrong with it- the pencil is smaller above the hand, and the fabric on the arm looks pretty crappy- it hangs down all wrong. C and C? oh, and that goblin thing looks really cool, but the loincloth doesn't look too good. the fabric is whole, then immediately spikes off. try putting some holes in it.

I thought the same thing, but I decided to keep it as is purely because of the dimensional restrictions (8x11). The main concentration is really on the sign, I guess, but I'll keep what you told me in mind for next time, Thanks!
