Extremely impressive Arthur. Love the curve in the back, and the long whiskers accent the face very well. Good leg anatomy too...

Yeah arthur your anatomy and all that is always dang close on all yer stuff, better than my pics with crooked eyes and no thoraxes and stuff, hehehe  He looks like he's up to no good...looks like my cat.

KROB-I like the chubby guy faces ya did,and the elephant :D You could use some shading to create a little more depth. I like the face right under the pacman ghost guy.

EDIT: here's a few i thought i'd post before i'm off for work

I like sketching with a BIC pen and a permanent marker B) I absolutely NEVER really ever draw much of anything that isn't humanoid in some way so be gentle with the critiqing :bing: on the rat-dog thing and my cartoony bird, hehe.

Looks great thepeve. Her left tigh is a bit thinner than the right though.

Not bad Krob, but remember: the balls are there to help you=)
Right now they just look randomly placed around the face.
They should be drawn at the top, and inside the cranium:

Krob, here's more on heads - http://www.anticz.com/heads.htm

comlock...

none of ur faces have jaws.

there shud be a break point in the line thats goes from the chin to the bottom of the ear.

u always seem to just draw a straight line from there to there lol, even in ur profiles. ;)

i do it aswell,i need to break outta it.

*goes back to movie...yaaaawn*

I think they are horrible, generic and flat. The line rhythm is none existant and you will probably want to tear your own eyes out after seeing them.

How come when I draw on the pc, it looks nothing like it does on paper...

Here's a technique I developed on how to draw realistic eyes. I only had 5 mins to draw, so it's an extreme quicky

For school, I was required to do a turnaround for a preexisting and then create action poses. I did not model or design this character; this is the Lowman rig for Maya.

The turnaround for reference:

The poses:

There's some problems with twinning and readability, but eh. Some of them on there are pretty decent.

Some other design work I've done over the past few days (except for the last one, which is about two weeks old). Most of them are just sketches playing with shape and form. They're not meant to be finished pieces. :P

I was really tickled by those action sketches, Anghenfil. (especially the one where he frolicks with the flower.)

I hope to see him animated!

Exellent work Riannon!
And I love the way the hands are drawn on that yellow "goo" dessert creature.
The actionposes looks great too, but I think the back of the head of that Maya guy should be wider -acourding- to the ref

Posted Image
(Unless the "mesh smooth" modifier will make it closer to a ballshaped head than the lowpoly version on the ref. I dont know...)

maby nitpicking, but the eyes seems slightly off

wops, you're right=o. I remember I drew jaws on faces before. Somehow I managed to just draw a straight line, and it turned into a habbit. Thanks for noticing. I'll try to remember it the next time

You're 110% on the money with the first guy. Thanks for pointing it out; I was thinking about it, but was too lazy to go back and change it. :P

For most of the design drawings, I'm taking a step back from my tendency for super anatomic and symmetrical for this round. Notice for the girl how one shoulder is enormously bigger than the other. Course, there's a difference between being asymmetrical for visual interest and then overdoing it and having the audience think it's "off." I'll definitely take that into account.

Thanks muchas, my non-photo blue angel. :wbitey:
