Looks great Fenrir=) Lots of new talented members have joined this forum reasently. That's nice. The uperbody of the boy looks a bit weird. I doesent look like it's realy bending the direction its suposed to be. More like chopped off and covered by his right hand. Though I cant figure out a solution to make it have more depth. But still an awesome sketch though=)

Some of you have probably seen some of these sketches before. Im just combining more sketches together to make it less boring to watch before I post it on my webpage.

 i said that? i didn't understand a single thing in that sentance :gasp: haha

oops NOOB you just said this-''impressive work jub,but that is one disgusting tangent *tangent: when lines from two seperate masses meet*''

It was Rubberhead that said this-''Little tip for the lines: when the line is in a lit area keep it subtle, when it's on a dark edge, feel free to define it more.''

hehe

I am making a Killzone fanart for a friend of mine. This is a lineart that was made after I did a pencil sketch. The only reference I used was of the Helghast troops to get the clothing right.

The image is too big to post, so see it here.

Just a little sketch I did while I was bored. I haven't contributed anything in awhile, and this is shite, but it's something!

Bahh, that sounds more like a preferance than an art rule noob. All the characters are in still poses,it's quite possible that they would distribute thier weight evenly I would put more weight on one foot and switch off,but i'm not santa claus either :bing:

I drew all of the characters pelvis area either tilting a bit to the left or the right(exept santa) when i made their construction. But I guess I dont know who to show that more clearly on the finished version where the construction lines are hardly noticeable. Can this only be solved by bending one knee?\make one foot stand on its toes?

But I dont know if I know exaclty what you mean. Are you saying that
the naked female sketch on the lower right has weight ecualy on both her feets?
Her pelvis area is clearly tilting, but is it something wrong with the way her feets are placed out?

anyway, Thanx for the crit Noob=)

And that t-rex looks sweet Jemooky=) I almost thought it was one of neonakis vector drawings^^

There's a few poses that show a bit of it. But, for the most part I agree.

That said, most of these characters are just in neutral positions. Studies in weight are a good idea... :bitey:

if that naked chicks left leg has the weight on it,the left hip would be higher and the opposite side of the body wud appear straighter

quick basic paint over...not the best crit but u get the idea.

You have NO idea how much that quote helped me out. I've been trying to color it in Photoshop and yeah.

Hey guys. Since I don't have much, here are a couple things from last year. Not my best, but I like them. Oh, I didn't draw the knife with inverted colors, I just did it in MS Paint. Just thought it made it look a little cooler.

You did hwa---?! :gasp:
Hands down the best picture I've seen done with paint! :++:

Also, the blind demon fellow looks good, too-- nice job on the chain and loincloth. Plenty of attention to detail in there! Though his legs would do nicely if they were a little longer. ;)

BTW HockMan-- how long have you been a Bone fan? That's a sweet avatar you've got of him. ^_^

Lol, I wish I could do that with Paint. I meant that I just chose the invert colors option when I was resizing the pic after I scanned it. Thanks, though!

Yeah, I've loved Bone for years now. I first saw it in Disney Adventures magazine when I was little, and when I discovered the graphic novels a couple years ago, I fell in love with it all over again.

Thanks Noob=) I guess it not realy that comfortable to stand in the first pose anyway. I didnt know if the ribcage was suposed to be curving out the way I did. And I cant find any ref of that pose anyway.

I tried some more. I dont know if this is any better.
I need a model...

I don't know about you guys, but Arthur needs to draw some figures in motion... running, jumping, killing each other. Yeah... Blood would be nice. :fpbls:

Better weight, but draw some in action. Might help you get a feel for a figure with mass.
