Okay, top to bottom, just my opinions mind you: Crouching Girl is decent. It's a static pose but the body is engaged, which is good. You have a really bad anatomical problem with her right shoulder; instead of the muscle bunching up on the top and stretching beneath, it looks nailed on. Drawing the armpit and the tendons/muscles that go from there can help a lot forming that area. Nice opposing directions on the hips and shoulders. Draw the other leg next time. Define the hips on Pulling Chains. Also, when pulling something truly heavy, the shoulders relax and the structural strength of the arms and the muscular strength of the legs do the work, so the shoulders would be unlikely to be bunched like that. You can show the tendons in the neck if you want to show clear upper-body tension. Good grimace. Cutting Cake has very good line of action, but I might have stretched him a little more. On the back swing, his front heel would probably be down for handling the weight coming back onto his feet. Good defining of the chest and hips, awesome expression. Circle kick looks the most questionable to me, since the most visually effective part of a kick is usually when the leg has completed its arc and is straight, yet you didn't draw this. Hmm. Good drawing of the spine and shoulders, but remember your hips and chests until you can naturally cultivate these shapes. I think it's a very good first batch, overall... Good and loose. Just my personal experience, but I've found basket ball players a lot of fun to draw because they have a lot of flexion and use their full range of motion frequently. Gymnasts and cage fighters are also decent choices. Keep at it! |

Those are coo Comlock.YAY,action poses!Hehe,i thought it'd be a good idea if we all worked on what we were bad at or a little rust on.I'm working on not shading my drawings like a p$#@y.I like the cake one,the pose and expression made me chuckle
 .I think the first one with the girl and the sword was good too, that'd be a good one to draw a little more polished, taking into account Anghenfils advice with what she pointed out. It's ok man, you're better at action poses than me,hehe.Keep it up. |

to markham: looks good man, but i think a little more bounce to it wud make it more dynamic. i like the way the feet sorta stretch just before he plants his foot down. is the head suppose to jitter like it does? cuz if not, as it is static as well, u cud maybe keep it static throughout. Still pretty cool though. o malakym: sweet man. i thought it looks like a aged bitey. after he has grown up.cool work. |

This is an extended idea of Malakym's sketch- It's the same creature as Bitey, only older, more rugged, bigger horns, and a very long trailing beard. Like a mountain-top Guru persona.

That's not looking much like a beard, if you get me. ... I've said too much. It's a very cool drawing otherwise, I like the drooping eyebrows. Kudos to you and Malakym on the horns. |

Here's a really crappy misproportioned attempt at foreshortening
.I was gonna just throw it away,This is how things usually come out when i work on a weak point of mine.Anyone have any tips or formula i can use,to get more accurate foreshortening?I was having trouble because it's a pretty brutal angle to make anything look right for me.WARNING///// contains zombie stuff ////// WARNING I was trying to draw him standing up from a crouching position, and leaning hard back screaming Sorry for posting a crappy picture, but i was looking for some advice  . |

try making the knees come up more...(if he's crouching that is)...and his butt should probably be only a little above his feet...show less of the thigh and more knee...and little more of the umm....calf? or whatever...the lower part of the leg

I dont know about you, but I find it VERY helpful to draw a brief skeleton first beforehand to get and idea of where everything is. What your skeleton would be What I woulda made the skeleton look like if I drew it

I see, yeah i ended up making him and the steps 2 differant perspectives.Haha,i'll go destroy the evidence now that i ever drew that
.I'm thinking that the way i drew the legs that i should have drawn his arms down with his fingertip touching the ground.Or just drawn the legs less bent

Yes, but see the yellow skeleton? balance-wise it looks like the zombie is falling over. The center of gravity isn't going straight down the body. oh! jubjub, now i think i see what you were trying to do. If you wanted his knees bent but still have him leaning back, the main reason it looks bad is because of the flow of his body. After standing up myself and bending my knees and leaning back (if im working on a tricky pose, i often find myself trying to replicate it to I know what it looks like) I realized that your guy is squatting down, but keeping his back straight (which would result in him falling over). |

OK,i get ya bardaux,if i wanted to pull that one off i should have for one placed one leg back to distribute weight, and not leaned him back so dang far. It's a hard one for me because it's a transition between 2 poses. |

I had a bit of free time on my hands today,so i drew some real quick sketches of a lil' blip that was going on in my head.I was thinking about some sort of old type of creatures that were around forever, that kind of kept the peace so to speak in brackenwood. Some kind of noble creatures. But each with either more or less noble intentions.Anyways,i drew a few pics of ideas that i had of what they might look like.I had an idea of one of them kind of guiding bitey, and how bitey might turn out grown up(assuming that he isn't already). And of course i could hold back drawing some sort of villian. So anyways here they are, keep in mind that they're VERY quick sketches.I had in my mind that they walked and ran on all 4,but when communicating theier posture would become more upright and humanlike. PIC 1-nurturing PIC 2-bitey being scolded PIC 3-more of bitey in trouble PIC 4-bitey grown up PIC 5- THE villian? I know they're crappy pics, but i thought the idea might be an entertaining one.The villian picture is the only one i took any time to draw really SHOOT! DOUBLE POSTED sry

OMG...you know what would be BA...if Adam tossed all that into brackenwood and one of the final episodes was bitey finding out that the old dudes that were scolding bitey were actually evil and bent on taking over all of brackenwood....and bitey along with the aid of lemonee wee and umm....this guy >>> and bing bong and the prowlies have to take them out.....(to dinner of course
)....and then at like the end of the episode bitey throws them off an inimaginably high cliff into a swirling vortex of lava that goes into the center of the planet....and all these special effects happen and the lava dries and the hole closes up and the rain clouds (not previously mentioned) clear and a light shines on bitey with all the other guys standing behind him wounded and whatnot....oooh....that would be AWESOMOSITY ![]() EDIT: Heh .....sorry got lost in my own thought....those drawings are freakin' amazing  ....I would consider those more than just a sketch ...but they still rock my pants off....
